As you saw in my last vlog, we were finishing up some touches in our house and now I finally went to pack my things from my father's house and moved them to my husband's house.

I want to say congratulations.on the final move to your new home.pls for now only move what is very nessasery.you can still leave some stuff in a storage either in your parents place or your in-laws place and you gradually take your time to sort things out .pls make use of the upper space like putting up shelfs to put up stuff that won't be of immediate us.l wish you the best of all in your new life.God bless.

Anyway is it a Nigerian thing to say "husbands house" where I am from we would just say I am going to my house/new house or marital house if one wants to be specific. Same case with "fathers house" I tend to hear it mostly among Nigerians. I grew up hearing "parents house" unless it was a single parent then it's mum or dad's house, so I find the whole husband/fathers house thing intriguing.

I love organising new houses. I actually wish I could help you with the kitchen 😊. My biggest advice to you is sort your stuff. You might want to keep everything but you shouldn't 😊. Maximize the walls in the storeroom. Open Shelves everywhere. Lastly invest in a collapsible ironing table so that once you're done, you can pack it up and keep that space clear. Otherwise carry that old one upstairs.
