    Note: A standard US DOT Green Gas can is listed at 8oz content and a Nuprol can is 10.5 ounces, so the contents are not double as I initially stated in the video. Sorry for the confusion! -J

      That'd be correct. Unless you import from Hong Kong, standard bottle of green gas is 8oz.
      Max i've seen for green gas is 20.2ml.
      Imported it from Hong Kong which took 2 months but it was $7.50 + shipping

    Been using Black and Red gas for just over a year in my Umarex 5.1 Hi-Capa and WE G17 EUForce. Stores in the mags at full pressure indefinitely, no leaks, the kick and trigger response is incredible compared to green gas. Everyone says "Oh they'll break your pistol if you use them", and yes if you use them in the same conditions you'll certainly get much more wear from higher psis. But if you use them for it's intended purpose the wear is exactly the same. Here in the UK in the winter site temps are regularly around 0C, using green gas I'll only get around 4 shots before the mag gasses out, as opposed to the full 24 on red or black gas. Black gas is my preferred gas in the winter time, red gas on all but the hottest days, in which I can get away with the cheaper UltraAir.
    They're all about regulating the pressure in your gun, lower temperature lowers pressure, so you need a higher power gas (like black gas) to be getting the same psi value you normally expect from green gas on a hot day. Black gas is also very useful on rifles where you have the big heavy bolt systems, to maintain gas efficiency and cyclic rate. So if you use them properly, the psi your gun experiences is exactly the same. Obviously if you use black gas in hot weather you're much more likely to damage the internals of your gun, and I 100% recommend against it on plastic slide weapons like TMs. Hope that helped :)

    Due to the colder weather here in the UK, I use red gas almost exclusively, and I swear by it. My WE Glock likes it more than my MEU does, but I think that might be down to some issues with my MEU unrelated to the gas. Sweet review, thanks for this.

    • @facundocorradini
      @facundocorradini 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      "yellow torch gas" = Map Pro = Propene. Exactly the same thing as Red Gas (in the same way that green gas = propane). Go for it, it works really well as long as you keep it below 25ºC / 75ºF, otherwise you'll risk overpressure.

    I run the Nuprol Gas' in my gass guns. The Black gas is designed for GBBRs with a heavier bolt and that goes in my WE M14. I use Red gas from around sept-march here in the uk and the green from march-sept. They announced a new Blue gas at IWA 2017 which is for plastic slide gbb pistols. I rate everything Nuprol are doing at the moment. The Gas is superb, their new range of BBs are far superior to the shocking ones they released before and their new range of AEGs are some the best low end guns ive ever used. Currently running their Delta Recon Alpha AEG and for a budget gun (£214.99) its certainly a bargain for the out put. Really impressed with the way nuprol are heading. Great video Johnathon!!! Big Fan

    Would love to invest in this for my glock, but I do have a question. At the beginning of the video you said the red was for cold weather, but then you said the same when showing the chrono of the black. Are they both for cold weather and one is just more powerful than the other? Or was it just a slip of the tongue? I'm from New England so cold weather gas would be a godsend for me.

    Hey Jonathan, a little off base because you are talking about PSI however, from someone who has used all three of these gasses in an attempt to prevent venting I thought I'd share my experiences.
    Being in the UK if its not summer then its cold and I've had constant trouble with my WE G17 venting after multiple shots. The red can didn't appear to be any better than the green, but the black gas is amazing. Have managed to rattle off full mags with no issues at all. Only ever used it in cold weather and never been over 350 fps although I wouldn't recommend use when its warm.

      Yes... most indoor CQB area's have a max FPS limit of 350.
      Field I play at, has a max limit of 600FPS, anything over 400fps you cant engage under 75feet. Tho.. i've been hit with worse HPA weapons that are DEFINITELY over the 600 FPS limit. Fucking hate people with HPA weapons who don't abide by field rules.

    • @casinbound5894
      @casinbound5894 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    • @tomcavasino
      @tomcavasino 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your mag may not have enough pressure anymore after you fired it, you can check that cause by putting just 1 or 2 rounds in a fully gased mag and shoot it. If the slide lock pressure problem, if it doesn't put an empty mag in your gun and rack the slide back. If it doesn't lock either look at the top of your mag. On one side of the feeding lips you should have a small plastic part of the follower pushing out, that part can wear down sometimes, if it's not that check your slide lock for any deformation (but it's a VERY standard issue on WE hacaps trust me XD) If none of the above i quit ^^

    According to the cans, the Red and Green gasses are both 95% propane, and both have the same weight and volume of gas in. If they are same size can, how is one a higher pressure?

    PLEASE do a review for the King Arms R93 T2 gas sniper. It's very unique and only Evike carries it. I cannot find any information on this gun and have no idea whether or not it's worth the purchase price. Thank you for everything you do and fingers crossed that this gets picked up for a future video.

I mean are all 3of the bottles green gas and is every coulor a different mix of green gas?sorry i am not trolling its just not clear to me yet i have nuprol 2.0 its just that i want to step it up with out breaking it:)

      If it's 0ºC out there, then you're safe. As it will have about the same pressure as propane at 15ºC.

  • @Picardwebber

    Hi Jonathan, I find the valves on some of my magazines can't cope with the pressure of the black or red gasses. Would this be lack of maintenance or something else?

    • @natecataldo1136
      @natecataldo1136 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's just because they're higher pressure gases and the release valves aren't designed to handle it.

      They're not designed to be used at the same temperatures as green gas. They're designed for colder weather, to equalise the psi you'd expect from green gas in good weather.

    Hey there. I live in the UK so will deffo be getting all three cans to try. because well, our weather here can change so suddenly. i have a question about after-market parts. i just ordered the WE G18c. and i know in full auto the nozzle can break, split, or shatter. what would be a good after market nozzle? - do they make metal nozzles? i want to be comfortable using full auto because i will be using a Roni convertion kit. And using it as an SMG of sorts. etc.

    How fast does it wear out your O ring vs green has?

    • @Matt3DMaker
      @Matt3DMaker 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      f you use it in hot weather sure, it will. But if you use them for it's intended purpose the wear is exactly the same. Here in the UK in the winter site temps are regularly around 0C, using green gas I'll only get around 4 shots before the mag gasses out, as opposed to the full 24 on red or black gas. Black gas is my preferred gas in the winter time, red gas on all but the hottest days, and plain old green gas in the (very) brief summer we get.
