Rosé, the redhead at 4:20 (pronounced "Ro-Zay" like the wine) is actually a New Zealander who grew up in Australia, English is her primary languageand she has a killer Aussie accent! 2: The group's writer/producer is Teddy Park, a rapper/producer who grew up in New York and California before moving to S. Korea and signing with YG Entertainment, one of the "BIG 3" K-Pop companies. He has his own sublabel at YG called THEBLACKLABEL. He's a master at blending English and Korean smoothly, and creating great beats, hooks and drops. FYI - BLACKPINK is now signed with Interscope/UMG for management/production outside Asia.
All four girls have solo projects as well, after their last contract ended they are now free to pursue their own solo projects outside the company (although they are still signed as a group). BLACKPINK is currently the most subscribed artist on TH-cam with over 94 million subscribers and over 36 billion views on their channel (with only 29 original songs!) They were headliners at Coachella last year and recently finished their record-breaking 11-month World Tour (I saw them twice in New Jersey then flew to Las Vegas to see them again!)
