They removed it everywhere. The version of Georgia on this EP is better for the same reasons and more. This blows both the studio album out of the water for me
Not at all a hot take. I was a fan of her based on her EPs and youtube vids. Saw her first concert outside of LA when she toured opening for Connor Oberst. Was super stoked when the album came out. Pretty much stopped listening by the time I got halfway through the album. Kyoto was much better. Boy Genius sounds a lot more like her early stuff, but you have to put up with the other two who can't sing like Phoebe.
This is hands down my favorite version of killer. It’s just her, the guitar, and someone gently accompanying her with what sounds like a lap steel in the middle of the song. It’s so bare bones, but it’s mixed so well that it sounds like you’re alone watching the performance in an empty room. And since there’s all that simplicity and extra room in the music, it helps makes the lyrics hit extra hard, not to mention her voice feels less processed, more raw genuine emotion. It’s absolutely freaking beautiful.
okay so i don’t listen to phoebe bridgers but years ago (2016 maybe?) i searched my name on spotify to find artists named phoebe and found this song and loved it but i forgot about it until today and i went and listened to it but it was different and i thought maybe i was crazy but here it is, the version i remember
wait im trying to do the same thing but im having trouble downloading it from here 😭 did you end up uploading it to spotify and if you did what did you save it as you would be a lifesaveeeerrrr
@@ap0llo. Ark studios which put together all the release stuff has closed down so I'm assuming they were paying for it to be kept up, and the producer ended up in a relationship with her and was emotionally abusive, so I'm assuming when the studio stopped paying to keep the album up, Phoebe just didn't bother paying to keep it up because he would still profit from it. Think it's why she re recorded half the songs on it as well, so that it's not associated at all with him, so they're different versions
hot take this version is miles better than the album version because the more stripped down instrumental (and vocals) make it feel more personal
so true

100% I literally came here just to listen to this version of this song and Georgia

She is making that sign say BUTT. And she has a nuclear assault shirt on. How can you NOT love this kid?
Not gonna lie, I'm actually really sad this isn't on Spotify anymore. This is one of my favourite songs of all time
just discovered this isn’t on spotify anymore :( i like it so much better than the album version
really upsetting that she removed this from spotify, cause this version is leagues better than the one up now.
Thank you, this is my favourite version of this song and it's no longer on Apple Music!
