    I love how Retro means, card creator: "people just play this for fun right? this doesn't seem bad..." competitive player: THIS IS BUSTED!

    This brings back memories of very long matches and slow build ups

    I don't know what Wizards was thinking when they designed Rocket's Sneak Attack. Somehow, they made things even worse when they released Rocket's Trap. With those two cards, you could rip every card out of your opponent's hand, on the first turn before they could do anything!
    Anyway, I love older formats. I'm trying to make Base-Fossil. I like the diversity of the desks compared to Base-Jungle. In that format, it's basically Lickitung and Haymaker, and that's it. It gets a little old after awhile. I do like how skill-intensive it is though.

    • @DKQuagmire
      @DKQuagmire 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MUK gets even better in the team rocket on format. Being able to turn of Feraligatr's and Typlosion's pokemon powers.
      Jason Klazinski even has a Muk/ Dark muk decklist that relies on getting the muks up as quickly as possible!

  • @SpectreXS
    @SpectreXS 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    If it isn't the most disruptive card, it's the second, the first being The Rocket's Trap.
    Not considering neo slowking as well.

    I think Electabuzz/Magmar are better partners for Wigglytuff/Clefable than Mewtwo because how many colorless pokemon are played, even Dark Vileplume plays Snorlax and Kangaskhan, also Lickitung and the Wigglytuff mirror.

    I dont understand using the dice as coin flips :(

    • @neryrubio8257
      @neryrubio8257 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Evens- heads
      Odds - tails.
      Easier to control than a coin.
      Dice are more uniform

    • @horokai
      @horokai 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Is faster and easier to throw 2 and 2 dices than 4 coin flips, but I still prefer to use the coin, more fun.

    I can confirm, “ricerca computerizzata” is the Italian translation for “computer search”
    And it is also a bad translation that make you clear how back in Time that period is lol
    In English it would sound like “computerized search”, and in Italian it sounds really stupid lol
