You mentioned insurance requirements. I'm planning on moving to Siem Reap, and have found that my age, over 65, is an issue to obtain health insurance. Do you have any suggestions, that take retired people, over 65? Thanks for all of that information! It was extremely good information.
Theres a Strong argument for choosing Thailand 🇹🇭 as a retirement destination . However costs Are Increasing and visa constraints . Is Cambodia a better option for a 70 year old
No other country I have seen the past 3 years looking for an '''ideal retirement destination''' has anything close to what Cambodia offers - if your over 55 ! Certainly seems "ideal" just for the visa alone - when dealing with many countries (BS) qualifications restrictions red tape financial requirements...... Vietnam doesn't even have a visa for retirement ! (( ? )) Not so sure the US is worth - "not severing ties" - with anymore James ? Really has been 'destroyed' from the USA of my youth 55 years ago !!! --- So..... If things turn to sh*t there in Cambodia - the PHILIPPINES remains doable - being a US expat ?!? - - - I really like Siem Reap - from here. 👍❤🙏✌🍻
To enter the Kingdom of Cambodia, a 6 (six) months validity passport is required as well as a valid visa (except for certain nationalities), including for children. Tourist and business visas are valid for one month starting with the date of entry into Cambodia. Your visa can be extended while you are in Cambodia.
