Thank you so much for this detailed, translated and comprehensive video, straight from a seasoned practitioner of the spiritual arts. I have recently purchased my first Bell and Dorje and have been gathering as much information as possible as to how to use them properly, before i even receive them. I wasn't even looking for a bell and Dorje originally; i was guided to them while looking for the perfect ritual dagger. I was first, guided to the Phurba and was immediately enthralled. Then i was somehow guided to the Tibetan bell and Dorje, which immediately inspired me to study the meaning and significance of these sacred tools. It was clear i am meant to incorporate these tools into my spiritual practice. I spent 2 days deciding on the perfect ones to purchase and am now studying their symbolism and use before i even touch them for the first time. So again, thank you so much for this video. I am eternally grateful for your service.

You know, I've been practicing for fifty years with all these implements and I never knew any of this. Nobody ever told me anything! What a shock! THis is a wonderful Geshe. Don't let him get away! And a really good translator! Good job! Listen carefully to everything he says, practice carefully until it feels second nature and you'll be fine.

I had subtitles on and the variety of attempts to spell vajra, bell, and damaru were hilarious!

Thank you so much 🙏 this video is really helpful and benefits a lot of people like me, who never received qualified and direct instructions on how to use the instruments properly ❤️🥰 I follow Gueshe-la's instructions and teachings but this subject can be confusing for beginners 🙏

    Hello there,
Thank you very much for the video, I learned a lot. Just a question, how do you know which side of the vajra is the top before putting the mark? In my dorje both sides are exactly the same.
    Thank you so much

Hi Jose Fernandez Pena! We have checked with Geshe-la himself, and he mentioned that our vajra would look exactly the same - this is normal and alright.
And in order to put the marking, we have to first decide which side to mark as the top. Either one is fine. However, the main thing to do is to fix the marking, and not change it at all after we have fixed it.
Last but not least, we are very happy to know that you are learning much from the video!! ☺️☺️

Nope. Then you specifically must be referring to Ancient Brahamanism. Bhuddhism had to come to clean all the mess left out by Brahamanism.

Hi. Which syllable does the face on the bell face? The markings on mine aren’t clear.

What specific practice is this describing? Can the vajra and bell be used without initiation?

advanced war weapons and tools of hindu gods repurposed as meditation tools. If it works and it help in induction for entrainment, then I guess its a good idea non the less.

I think you'll find that both Hinduism and Buddhism borrowed quite liberally from one another, Einstein.
