It's a scandal that the jury has placed this performance on 24 th place out of 26 !! Are they insane ?! Thank God the audience has better taste. You deserved better Zoe
Im not so sure if the audience has better taste... They did a terrible mistake with Ukraine and Poland. I like this song and Russia's song but they gave Spain so few points.
Ever thought she had a poor dress rehearsal? That's used as the jury final, and this what the juries cast their votes from, she could have been better for the Saturday final.
Doubt she had a bad dress rehearsal, the juries ranked her 11th out of 18 in the semi with only 37 points. Probably just not to their taste.
Because the lyrics are too simple and boring, I am french and she said all time the same lyrics. I think the vote of jury is logic and the vote of televoting is also logic.

The sweetest girl in the competition. So proud of her and her 8th place in televote, she showed that a country with no diaspora or neighbors like Austria can do very well with a talented performer

Come again? Austria doesn't have any neighbours? It's probably one of the countries with the most neighbouring countries in Europe! I counted 8 (DE, CZ, SK, HU, SI, IT, CH, LI) and I doubt there are many countries with more, although admittedly I haven't checked very carefully. Very good song, though! :-)
The only country that has more neighbors is Germany (9) and look where they ended...
Up and Down He means neighbours who will definitely vote for them no matter the song, and clearly Austria can’t always rely on them for votes as they had 0 points in the televote in 2015, 2017 and 2019 semi
The only entrant who have more televote points than this cute girl was Conchita, and the following artists after Zoë failed to reach top 10 in televote (Cesar Sampson only got 13th, 49 points lower), let's hope Vincent Bueno next year could do well in Rotterdam with his energetic entry *"Alive"* !

As a French, I just would say that people in France are very happy you sang in their language and that, even if the french televote didn't show that, people in France stay aware they owe you a debt.

Over the years this has slowly become one of my top EV songs of all time. The look on Zoe’s face as she sings is euphoria, I have never seen anyone look so happy in my life, and I’m assuming pride like no other. What a performance

This should have been the winner hands down. The jury were a complete mess, at least there was some justice for Austria (and Poland) in the public vote.

I was surprised this one didn't get 12 points from France, even more so cause the French have an high regard for their language. Maybe it was because of the diaspora voting from there.

This was the only song that actually had a Eurovision-feel to it.
Of course it was extremely unusual to hear and see a song in French from Austria. But ZOË was just so incredibly sweet, and the song just put you in a really good mood. I still enjoy hearing it to this day. Clear case of underrating.

Lovely! I was so happy when she placed 8th in the televoting and scurried up to 13th place. She deserved more, really, but I'm used to watching my favourites fail miserably, so that was a great moment for me. :D
