Ive been waiting for a similar configuration like this since i started flying FPV. I started with the emax tinyhawk 2 race and almost immediately strapped an insta go 2 because i saw its potential, ultra light + silent+hd it was a winner. Now this comes along 2 years later, zero soldering and compact. Its a winner in my books.
Same for me, always loved small drones and wished they could bring good cameras on them, I really hope DJI improves o3 with a pro version to record very good footage
This changes the game for me to go back to flying fpv :) easy to use and good quality 👌 i love the fact that you don't need a second camera for recording 😊
I set myself up a 4k recording tiny drone with the caddx loris it's pretty awesome the the ND filter setup wasn't very durable and for what they are expensive to continuously replace.
Nice review. I have a pico for flying indoors and very close to people, though I am still practicing with it outside quite a bit to to dial in precision flying. But personally, if I was always going to fly outside, I would have no desire to have prop guards. I hope happymodel comes out with a toothpick or other small open prop 03 next. I still haven't found the perfect 03 frame for that size yet, though the crux35 I converted and dropped to 3" flies decently.

I would want to cut the ducts off if I did this, so I could keep the bottom battery mount and protect the fc and inverted motors for takeoff and landing. Now to look for my broken prop guard section from the beta to try this. Hope I didn't throw it away.
Great review thanks for taking the time. I have one and found the jello pretty bad, tried some rubber grommets on the camera mount and frame which improved it a bit. As you pointed out getting the air unit in the frame is a scary process and the nuts not held in place is super annoying when adding rubber dampers, they should at least provide lock nuts! I tried it with the Walksnail 1s and that worked very well and because it's lighter gives much better flight times, obviously the video quality is not 4k. Overall I slightly prefer the Pico Pavo but both are fun
I can't afford digital, but this looks like the rig for me. I'm probably going to spring for the analog ELRS version [great price] and try to cram my Caddx Turtle V2 DVR onto it.
i just snagged the 1.6" nano baby from flywoo. its on sale rn and it is indeed heavy and powerful enf to fly in decent wind. I have dji o3 on my 5" and a spare O3 kicking around to use on something but I still went for the analog bc its not going far and flys soooooo much better. its all about having something that doesn't require driving about to see if ppl are absent from 3-4 spots you're trying to go fly
@@Rimzler I got a Mob8, afterwards. The Turtle fits the O3 frame perfectly. Its 1103 motors run with Gemfan D-51-5s really well, too; more 'grip', and a little quieter. Not for ripping, tho'. The stock props take care of that. I rotated the camera 90 degrees because I like the handling with a transverse battery underneath. It's a decent little platform.
I just recieved my bnf- and its great! . Flies nice with a 660 but the weight makes me think 550 is probably the sweet spot Thanks for the video, cant wait for you to upload the comparison of all your 2"'s.
Rimzler, for the jello and vibrations you can try other brands of props, most of the time the props are the ones who cause all kind issues like jello and vibrations , also you can add a step up regulator for the O3 , that way the O3 will stay on until the FC shuts down at 4v LOL !!! so to have more fly time :D
probably yeah it came right around pico was announced or released beta version and pico can fit all of vtxes i think atleast im sure for vista and svatar
Hi, I have just bought one and it’s impossible to Connect it to my dji controller 2.. ( I have the video in goggles2, the radio’s Green lights are fixed but the controller doesn’t work ) can somebody help me please ?
bougt this drone together with the dji integra goggles, combined with my radiomaster boxer everything works but when i'm like 10 sec in to my flight my video signal just goes away not bad connection it just stops and i'm not seeing anything from my feed. Do you have an idea what the problem could be?
You have to check if the o3 system is working, if is working and you see black is probably the camera cable being loose, if the unit is off then is a low battery voltage probably
Hi, I've got this one but I've put in HD Walksnail it's much better with a better weight, better flying time and a more agile drone. the Analog version I've also got is the best for freestyle.

Rimzler, if you pull the cord of the antennas back you can push the very end of the antenna into those little grooves and they stay nice!

The Pico you can remove ducts tho and becomes a tiny toothpick! But you are right it would be super cool to have a proper BNF one

Did you enable serial_rx for UART6 and select receiver provider to SBUS ?
Do you use stock rates, pids and settings ??? You dont change anything ?

Analog was amazing for keeping stuff light, but the ability to record good quality footage and possibly use for work is priceless

Couldn't the ants just be glued around the rim of the prop guards or 3d print something that would snap them onto the rim of the guards?
When I connected it to Dji remote 2 I can’t see the osd in goggles 2. Any help?
