@@petepoteet Well according to Google lol - Yes, there are still pirates in the Caribbean. And the Bahamas are considered part of the Caribbean. Pirates are usually armed with guns, knives, or machetes. They drive speed boats, board ships, gather and lock up the crew, and search the ship for valuables.
So even though unlikely I don’t see what’s stopping them from surrounding a tiny island with speed boats in the middle of the night. Who are you going to call? Who could be there in minutes? Not the cops lol. Even by helicopter it would take them more than half a hour to get in the air and get to a safe landing zone to help you.
