One of the best sounding drum kits I've ever heard. I love the warm tone.
Beautifully made video. One of the best drum videos, probably THE best, that I've ever seen. From sound to video quality, just good all around.
Nicely done demo. Great playing by Mike. He really allowed the listener to get a sense of the drum's dynamics, as well as the cymbals. Really nice sounding kit.
I just picked up the kick used in black oyster to use along with my other USA drums from various kits. It will be black oyster, purple wood grain gloss, a red sparkle wrap floor and a rosewood flood floor with a brown and gold duco finished Slingerland snare, lol! It will look absolutely ridiculous but I know it will sound great!
Oh my goodness. That bass drum. That slight overtone sounds beautiful.
great demo really brings out the nuance, and the power.

beautiful set, equally beautiful cymbals
the best jazz drum sound
I love his playing, he's great.
Beautiful set! And very great sound :D
I like the random Sonor bass drum pedal there in the floor.
I love that kit and I really love those pies! The K Constantinople cymbals have always been a fav of mine. I own a Mapex Saturn Manhattan kit that is similar to that kit in sizes except for the bass drum depth which is 14". If The Gretsch Brooklyn series kits had been available when I bought my Saturn's, I would have most certainly purchased a Brooklyn Jazz kit.
outstanding just got the renown jazz kit i got to make it sound like this or buy this kit my god it sounds awesome
Awesome your playing jazz stuff
This is art.. Now I dare you to change my mind!
You have the best job ever!
Great Demo!
This product video is superb. These drums sound killer BUT I would've love to have heard the kit tuned up into a higher tuning. I know it sounds good but that's what I was looking for
great playing!
good job with the tuning
At first I thought: Oh no, you play to much fills! You have a beautiful jazz beat, why not continue?? Then I realised you where actually showing how the kit sounds.
Great video!
outstanding
"Matt" is a BEAST!!
I NEED IT.
Those cymbals tho
AWSEOME SOUND!!!
Those cymbals are worth almost as much as the kit!
Beautiful playing & beautiful sound! Do you use any ring on the Snare to avoid overtones?
Prefer Brooklyns of all the Gretsch range.
Beautiful warm sound.
Superb Gretsch Kit, and love your playing .Grooving ..proper drum sound and at last, well tuned..unlike some youtube gretsch vids..
Was that drum part at the end "Art of Almost" , by WILCO?
those fucking guitars... epic.
I want it!!!!
I Like your Drumming!
The lathing on those hi hats is pretty strange..Never seen them that wide spread on K Cons..
Great sounding drums! Awesome drumming too. Did noticed that you never crashed with your left hand though.
What bass drum head are you using?
just one mic for kick and 2 overheads?
obviously, but sounds great!
Ohio Wow Signal
absolutely, for good drum set and cymbals you don´t need anything more .... the sound I´ve been looking for all my life
Emperor my ass, you can clearly see its a coated P3
