Maryland alumni here. That was a hard fought game, we will see you guys again in year’s tournament.
I love Mountaineer basketball. I’m a little old lady who has watched for years and I love this team and watching them grow stronger as the season went on. And I love Huggins. I’m sorry we lost but I’m happy that I got to watch the play. Let’s go mountaineers
My heart goes out to these young men. They gave it all they had. I’m not happy with the result by any means, and have higher expectations, but still love this team and this program.
I feel the same but it's not fun being mediocre year after year after year.. We're supposed to play like we're the 15th winningest program not the 50th, just my opinion

You expect a razor-thin margin between the 8th and 9th seeds. That's what we got. It was a game of "runs" between the two teams and WVU ended up 2 points short but still had a decent chance at the very end. When you look at the roster, only half the team is eligible to return next season. I hope Seth Wilson, Kobe Johnson, James Okon.... come back as a nucleus. Regardless, someone has a lot of work to do in the transfer portal and among JUCO's to fill the holes since I see offers but not any 2024 committed recruits at this time. Regardless of Thursday's outcome, thanks to this team and Coach Huggins for earning WVU a return to the NCAAT from this season's best basketball conference
No offense love and respect you so much but we just expect it instead of doing something about it if I take a step back it’s bad trust me !!!
Bob Huggins did not turn the ball over, he did not miss shots all season. He turned this rag tag group of very different but good players into contenders. We left too many points on the table in too many games. Too bad all could not play high energy ball while on the court at the same time. But to be fair, we got mugged, clubbed, and hacked by teams all season. I really loved this team and enjoyed watching them all season. So sad to see it end
Will miss these players. Erik definitely had a great year and so did Kedy.

Idk..he's done a lot for wvu bball, but i think he needs some humility for instance, if he retired and "some young guy would come in and screw it up" to this is would say that he was defeated by a young guy tonight and the young guys in the conference have winning records against him ie boynton, drew.. hell, i think every coach in the league is younger...his offenses consistenly suck and you cant just say every game " we didnt make shots" i feel like he's lazy..also, if the players are not playing right then they are not being coached right

Some comments are really juvenile. Poor coaching? My ass! Kedee just missed it. We should have got the ball back 5 seconds earlier on the out of bounds play. How was MD’s two big men able to play as aggressive as they did with four fouls and Jimmy gets his fifth on a touch foul!. ? When have we gotten the benefit of some close calls? To blame the Coach or the players after watching that flagrant foul on Emmitt go uncalled and then they tried to make it up on the next screen!? BULLSHIT, for some reason we get refs that are biased! We didn’t deserve to win, we MADE TOO MANY MISTAKES! But to blame the Coach is juvenile and short sighted! COME ON MAN!!
Huggs , knows we should have won , 4 for 17 by Erick isn't going to cut it , Keddie played his ass off . Emmett didn't show up , no jimmy ! Can't win play like that . Trey played great ! 2 guys came to play period !

Very Poor Coaching down the Stretch. Too much time lost to make that final basket. Too much time lost on the foul. No Time Outs left. Wrong Player taking Last Shot. Very Aggrevating. And I'm Tired of Losing.
The officiating was horrible today, but still should have won the game.

Huggs is best in the business the portal coddles cry babies mostly. If there was a such thing as dedication from freshman to seniors like before bob would still be going deep into march. Can't play a year for him and be great and that is fact
Huggins needs to go because of his poor recruiting. This was basically a Disaster along with last year.
The portal and NIl and other things have ruined basketball and will ruin hugss/I dont think it is bearable..I wish it was

@@bb-fe9ur I am and will always be a WVU fan I grew up listening on a battery powered radio when my parents would not let me stay up. WVU is a way of life but we just don’t get the attention from the best athletes. If we ever do win it will be a miracle. The last time we had a chance just like the coal mines politics took over and Rich Rod was looking for a pay day and then we got rid of the best coach we could have ever dreamed of in coach stew because he was too West Virginian.
Fine me but the refs won the game. Not for MD as they were terrible both ways. Congrats refs!

While WVU didn't play well at times, the Mountaineers played hard today. We sit at courtside, and it was evident that the team put out top level effort. Don't know where you come up with that take at all.
Refs lost Wvu the game
No Huggins lost the game for them. Poor Clock Management down the Stretch. No Time Outs left. Wrong players in at the Game at the End. And Stevenson should have taken the last Shot. No Way the Refs lost the Game for them. They did it to themselves.

@@bb-fe9ur I've always been a Mountaineer fan. Have lived here all my life. I'm just sick and tired of Losing. Huggins and Brown aren't getting the Job done. Time to pass on the Torch to someone else. Sounds like you are fine with losing. Sorry but you don't get a Participation Trophy for playing NCAA Ball. And if it keeps up, who knows maybe I'll start rooting for Pitt lol.
