As an Italian I say that both of them have some problems with words. Simon is in full physical vigor while Kiri is at the end of his career (he will retire in 2014) and it is felt that the voice is no longer that of youth. It also cuts off earlier or later when they sing together. Despite everything I remember her as a great professional with an extreme sweetness.
Pete Soebekti Generally, I’m all for interpolations, but when Rodolfo sings the C it could not be more wrong. (Kiri really is not good here. Sounds like it was the beginning of bowed cords, which greatly reduces volume. It’s a simple age thing for some singers, not bad technique.)
How can she still sing so beautifully at age 60? Kiri is a marvel!
Beautiful duet.
Obrigado por compartilhar. É uma das grandes divas do canto lírico
Kiri is stunning!!!
Музыка чудесная.! Кири красавица!
Wow! Beautiful! and I can say I sang with Simon once. Nice to hear you again!

Simon O'Neill, wow how come i haven't heard of him before?
He's a Wagnerian expert
Kiri is in a hurry during the first half but managed to calm down towards the end.
No.

Shut up!
Simon better do the high C.
the high c is only intended for mimi, not rodolfo
