Yeah, a whole song on helium would not be good. Oxygen is quite important when singing, and helium is not oxygen, lol. Layne did post a "helium" version on his tiktok though, where he sped the song up to give it a "helium" effect.

He’s the swing for 6 parts including Aaron Burr and - the lead - Hamilton. And earlier in the year when Disneyland Paris debuted their new castle show, Deejay was the male lead. (He had recorded it for Disney during the shutdown, but thought it was only a demo!). He recorded this with VoicePlay while Hamilton was touring Florida. And he also recorded a second song with them that we’ll get to see after the first of the year. If you want to see more of Layne (and Tony’s) creative genius, Pattycake will be debuting soon a new Christmas video. I think you’d particularly like it since it incorporates some videos of real Christmas fails and one of Layne’s favorite Christmas characters. Can’t say more right now, but I’m sure you’d like it.
Well, let's say that they have different "sense of humor". In my eyes, Layne is more "mischievous" and "over the line", while Geoff is maybe more kinda "subtle" and you have to pay more attention to detect it properly. But I may be very wrong 🙂, and sure I love 'em both. 🤩

I love layne’s arrangements but this lovely arrangement is Geoff’s brainchild. Some examples of his tells are more interesting chords than normal and also features everyone equally, whereas layne likes to use geoff a bit more often than geoff uses himself. Geoff told us that layne’s arrangements oftentimes challenge his capabilities. Hence why the extra extra low notes Geoff makes are more often than not, Layne’s arrangement. They’re both interestingly different and also quite similar in styles. Geoff I think is on par on the goofiness and silliness levels with Layne.
Layne and Geoff are equally the creative drives. they both do all the arrangements, producing, directions, concepts, etc. 50/50%. Geoff did everything with this one. Him and Tony Wakim directed this. Layne and Huldra Draco both made videos of them singing like their on helium. You hit the nail on the head with Layne about his inner brain workings. He's the prankster/jokester of the group. I'd never heard this before, not sure if that's because I'm in the UK or just old? But I love Geoff's arrangement, fantastic harmonies with Cesar, Eli and Deejay (boy, that man can riff). Hilarious that Geoff gave himself the Tinkerbell line and the look of joy on his face doing that arabesque cracks me up! An all round, feel good Christmas song. Great reaction, thank you! 🌲🙂👍
it's a song from the animated movie Alvin and the Chipmunks. the movie has aired in many countries, also the UK, but if you haven't seen the movie then that explains why you haven't heard of it 🙂
@@huldradraco Actually, the song came before the cartoon, back in 1958, by the same guy who did the Witch doctor song (Oo-ee, oo-ah-ah, ting-tang, walla-walla bing-bang""). And this song was so popular, he made a whole series of children's albums, and there was a comic book, etc.

As others have said he has appeared numerous time with VoicePlay and is part of the tourng cast of Hamilton, hence the reference to it in the song. I believe the outro is Layne on helium but you stopped before hearing it.

Bang! is one of my favorite VP songs, such a bop and Deejay totally kills it in that one (Geoff also once again breaks all.the.laws.) Definitely need to check it out! Also Man in the Mirror is so well done, Deejay sounds so much like MJ in that one. It was one of the last songs VP did before J.None left and the message of that song I believe says a lot about whyJ. decided to join the Navy.
You should definitely check out VPs version of Bang! They featured DJ and he, Eli and J None all do a harmonized ascending run along with tons of other cool stuff. It's amazing. And I love their cover of the Grinch. It's my favorite Christmas number from them!
