higher release point from the person shooting = higher skip so if they go up super high then be ready for it to skip high or if they release lower then be ready for a lower shot (obv there are some exceptions)
I think you can sum up this whole video by just saying leg up and shoot hard… most players need to master just shooting normally and accurately before worrying about skipping the ball

I do the 3 finger release but it still not skip very well
Add more power or use more legs to ur shot
