London Buses 2005-Last Day of Routemasters on Route 19

I was at Clapham Junction, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus and Battersea on the final day of Routemaster operation of the 19. Many of what you saw I was able to get too.

Hi mate another great video mate I remember the RM at southgate north London in the 1960/70s I live in Belfast N.lreland we do have 2 RML IN Belfast on the city tours I do love the RM and RML/RMC buses stay safe and well mate goodbye for now clive in N.lreland

Yes, all RMLs (apart from 903 & 2760, and 900 which had gone to Scotland) were given a refurbishment in the 1990s along with various upgrades to a few RMs....

What was the chocolate brown 'Great Northern' bus about? Great Northern Railways?

Possibly a pre London transport bus company that ran along the 19 route, and yes, the Great Northern railway company may well have run buses, a lot of railway companies had their fingers in lots of pies! (think hotels, shipping ect)
