A lot of people think Doctor Who was dead during this time period, but with some great novels and big finish there was loads of new or old unreleased stories to get your Doctor Who fix
I would say we were crispy mastered , but we were a bit worse often than that We would have probably been more like Him in some of the healing coma as he seems to take in big finish From what i've seen in the expanded media , he has a habit of just taking naps for decades of the time at one point even in being entombed
I still remember watching "the American Dr. Who" movie here in Austin TX when it premiered. Considering that up to this point the show was shrouded in mystery to me, having prior only managed to see most of one episode on a weekday afternoon when I was off school for some reason. In my memory it was a Tom Baker episode, there was little or no musical score and the Doctor essentially wandered around in a desert expositing for a half-hour. I had read the Marvel reprints of the TB-era Who comics, and from those I got a pretty clear picture of what excited people about the show and that had *me* excited. As far as the actual McGann MOW, I recall it being pretty cool but hardly life-changing. The fact that I remember it at all says quite a bit though!
2:21:42 I really don't like that. Russell T Davies used to be a pheromonal Doctor Who Writer, but behind the scenes, he seems like a dick. With stuff that has come out recently and stuff that has come out throughout the years since 2005, it just seems like he's not a nice person to work with.
Oh what like when troughton was prancing around in a dress in the highlanders? What are you on about ‘emasculated’. One line of a tv program in the star beast doesn’t change anything. Also, the new doctor is just another take on the role like all of them are. You could argue matt smith wasn’t very ‘manly’ either.
@@neilkendrick4976 naw, i just think your representation of the star beast is overblown and out of proportion. I’ve been watching doctor who since 2008 myself and have watched a good chunk of classic. Just because you’ve been a fan since 63 doesn’t make your opinions worth more. Did you get to see troughtons missing episodes on broadcast?

I'm finally caught up on your viewing figures videos but my god, it was worth the wait and hours. Justice for Paul McGann please 🙏🏻❤😂

The Wilderness Years at least kept our Doctor Who heart going before the revival series in 2005.
Reeltime and BBV could do with their own vids - a lot of gems not overly well known 🌟
How good is Jonathan Pryce as the Master? He just kills it.
Huzzah! The Wilderness Years are in a single video!

Decent but not “phenomenal”.
Next do the modern series next viewing figures

@@jadeorsomething1591 go watch doctor who with an open mind, rather than yours biased perspective, youth.
