I love the aspect of Woodley training as hard as he can for this fight. Even though he's facing someone who is not even close to being as seasoned as him as a fighter, he's training as if he's going for another belt. I can't discredit Jake for the work that he's put in but nobody knows the results until the night of the fight and I cannot wait to see it. All in all, I've got Woodley in this one.
This is gonna be a good fight. There’s a major difference in Jake’s opponents. Honestly it could go either way. Time will tell.
The thing that I can't stand about Jake as a "pro fighter" is that he has fought 2 people who had no fight experience whatsoever, then he fights a retired ufc fighter WHO SUCKED AT STRIKING and that had just came off of a hip replacement... he's cherrypicking and there should be no pride in that.
I so want Woodley to win but jake Is not bad at all now and if jake wins this one then his ego will reach the sky

as long as woodley doesn't accidentally forget this is restricted to boxing rules and not tackling/strangle/kick the guy. He is safe money and w/e clause wise in the contract. As for the fight itself, this nothing like Jake vs Ben. A. (who is out of shape, has no good hands, and very little training in boxing). This is woodley who is athletic as F and has the speed, cardio to back him up. Jake is not a small dude and has been training hard I'm sure, and he has a decent amount of boxing experience (compare to avg boxer training goes). A good hit if landed can definitely put stars on woodley's head, and vice versa. I still think woodley has more of a chance but this is much more closer level wise. so alex vs ben was a joke and floyd vs the other brother was a joke for different reason. This one both side actually have a good puncher's chance and skill wise is closest yet in term of .. two guys who right now has no business broadcasting in a boxing ring and sell tickets. This might actually be a fight.

I agree but I don't like this at all. Jake is much bigger than him and this isn't MMA. I would LOVE to see him send this grown toddler to his crib, but it's not in a cage for a reason. Jake is a big guy and Tyron is not Floyd. Floyd can handle someone 40lbs heavier in a boxing ring, it's much harder for a guy switching to boxing after beating dudes senseless in a cage for decades.

He's a mediocre boxer at best, but he's huge compared to Woodley. If you don't have a massive skill differential like Floyd did, fighting a guy 35-40+ pounds heavier than you isn't easy.
