- I mined a GIANT 100x100 area all the way down to bedrock! This 100x100 gave me a huge space to build farms and it also had a lot of ores. This was a massive project, I hope you guys enjoy episode 8.

Also on the moss method you didnt need to demolish the lush cave for moss you just needed 1 moss and you could just use its spread for mosss

sugar cane farm
emerald farm
(if all these farms fit would be good if not dont build sugar cane and emerald farm yet)

rewatching this i find it interesting how He never used the moss blocks on a composter it fills up the composter quite a lot and he only actually needs one moss block to bonemeal because the surrounding blocks becomes moss which he can use to get more bonemeal as long as he keeps one moss block on him

Next time use the moss you collect in a composter and you'll get even more bone meal so you could have continued technically forever
I think if you use black concrete for the 4 walls of the 100x100 area, it would look badass. It would look like the ACTUAL DEEP DARK! oooohhhh

I'm doing nearly this same thing in Bedrock right now. I think this technique (quarrying) is a lot stronger now because a beacon can cover more blocks now that the world is deeper, because there are more types of blocks to mine now, and because we can now farm shulker shells to store the big piles of loot.
Two tips: first, put your beacons around 50 blocks above the bottom of your world, so that they actually cover these entire chunks. Two, if you're on Bedrock, you can switch up your mining technique once you hit deepslate layer. Mine out every third row of blocks using the speed mining technique: this is performed by holding down the mine button when you're out of range of the blocks, and then walking into them. You will find that you can mine blocks at walking speed, even with speed II. Taking out every third row will expose every ore block in the deepslate. I'm almost finished with this step and, once I'm done, I'm going to coat the sides of the quarry with flowing water, stuff the space in between the remaining deepslate with TNT, and blast it all out.

I honestly wouldn't be bothered to mine even half of the first layer so good job. You should name it the Pit of Drops because you can fall there and it's going to be a farm with many mob drops or whatever you put in there :D
You should also try making a nether hub or making something awesome in the End when you run out of things to do!!

I don't play minecraft but it looks so fun! I would still play it if it wasn't a $ game, the reason why I like Minecraft a bit is because I play roblox but there's a game in roblox called "Bedwars", yes a copy from Minecraft lol, I play bedwars so much that I have played it more then 100+ hours lol, these videos are so fun to watch:)

I would fill the holes, and replace the diorite, andesite(and so forth) With stone or deep slate! I think it would look a lot cooler! :D thanks for your videos!

I did a calculation for how long it's going to take to dig the hole. 19 hours if no breaks not counting getting pickaxe ect. But if you do take a break maybe a day or 2. To finish this video probs a week so I'm proud of you and how hard you work on your videos. Also 19 hours to 2 days mining with a pickaxe.

Today I mined a 5by5 area with enchanted iron and it took a couple of hours, about 3. Respect+ for you doing 20 times what I did in less time on average
what if you mine out 3 more 100 x 100's? it would be one heck of a challenge, but i feel like it suits you best. another epic challenge for an epic youtuber! cheers to fru!
