One of these days we'll get the lane guy to do something really crazy like put two different patterns out -- one on the left lane, one on the right lane -- and let the kids figure it out.
I've been a fan of Dakota's ever since he made his first appearance on PRODIGY. I picked out right away that he's got some game. When he made that 6-7-10 on the PRODIGY TEAM SHOWDOWN during the Summer, it was obvious, this kid could play.
BrownswickBowling And I'm sure on different lane conditions, he'd be able to move left and hook the ball and have it come back with out too much trouble. But the line he played is my favourite line to play, and he was pretty consistent at keeping it on target. I am surprised that Logan's team did as bad as they did too. That 12 or 13 year old kid that looks older than he is has some great game too
Nolan seems like a real good kid. Was good to get to know him a little better at the end. Happy for those kids, good to see the underdogs come through, well done fellas.
Great to see the underdogs climb the ladder. More accomplished players sometimes over-think point and shoot patterns. Hope you keep giving the kids difficult looks. The versatility will serve them well as they progress.

I don't know. We've talked about it a number of times. He seems resistent to changing. I've also offered to give him some 14 pound bowling balls, but he's not been interested. I don't know why. But I know this much: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. When and if he's ready to change, he will. He's got just enough of a competitive streak in him that I continue to hold out hope that he'll come around.

I have something planned for spares, but it'll come in the form of a series of PRODIGY SHORTS. It'll require getting some of the kids to meet at another bowling center. We can't shoot it at our usual home house because of certain requirements. We'll need to be somewhere that has the Brunswick GSX pinsetters where you can set up any spare you want right from the console on the lanes.
Ben 1014 - He’ll be back. What I think a lot of people forget is that for the kids to stay after league to bowl PRODIGY, it means the parents have to stay after, too. As soon as we started getting more and more kids from other centers coming over to bowl, it meant we couldn’t start PRODIGY qualifying the minute our league finishes. We have to wait a little bit to give the visitors time to drive over from other centers. That does turn it into a somewhat longer afternoon, especially for the parents. We’ve lost some participation because of that. Some folks just don’t want to wait to get started. That’s part of the reason. But I do believe the show benefits from the kids from other centers joining in. I’m sure we’ll see Mikey on the show again.
Some of the kids on this show are not tournament bowlers and don't have a ton of experience on the various sport patterns. They're so used to throwing the ball right and seeing it hook back. It's one of those things they just have to learn about long oil. I imagine when they watch this, they'll get an earful from me (and comments like yours) and it will help them understand they have to adjust.
Yeah, it's kinda weird how that works with TH-cam. I'm surprised they make it available for viewing before all the resolutions become available. But at least you don't have to wait too long. I've been watching in 1080p since the video had been up for about 15 or 20 minutes. That's not a long wait.

Dakotas got some game. He played a solid line, gets nice lift at the release, and some nice rotation.
