I had a stylist cut my hair waaaaay shorter than I asked it aged me and not a single person complimented the cut. It took 5 years for my hair to grow out. I have not been to a salon for over 20 years because of it. Im forced to cut my own hair all these years.

Not that it matters ( my opinion) Maybe it's tradition in the country they're from; I found this video very sexist. Regardless if in the end it wasn't real. The idea a man ( husband,father, or hairdresser) could order her to cut her hair as punishment and secondly how the hairdresser man-handled her hair at the beginning. I felt bad all the way during the video. I didn't feel anything relaxing about the rest just bc of what he did in the beginning. Even if it's a scenario, I didn't need that in my life right now. This reminds me of past abuse in my life. Pretty dark period in my life. I'm crying.

No one comes near my hair with scissors! I have worked too hard to get it to where it is after I lost 30-40% of it during some severe medical issues four years ago, had to chop off what was left bc it was so brittle and damaged, wore a wig until it grew back enough and was healthy enough to wear scarves or wide, soft headbands. It's healthy again, thicker than it was before and down to my bra, still growing thankfully. It actually almost looks like an Apostolic Pentecostal woman's hair should-long and uncut! Mine has a long way to go yet, but given that a Dr told us I only had 1-2 yrs, 3 at the most to live due to cancer I am thankful for what I have. In remission and doing great three years after eight hours of surgery by the grace of God.

I actually had a long time stylist who I trusted, chop my waist length hair to this length, telling me to “get over it” without my consent……. She just took the scissors and chopped half off! I never trust any stylist now and rarely allow them to even trim my hair. 100% true story I had very long thick , curly hair and it’s never been the same, 24 years later. Huge betrayal of trust and she ruined my hair and self esteem. Thanks Lorri at dazzling divas San Diego 😡🤬

Que horrible corte. Este estilista no tiene técnica le falta ser más profesional. Y cuando entro la chica a la estética la trato muy mal. Yo me hubiera dado la vuelta y le diría que fue un grusero. No sabe tratar a las clientas. No me gustó el corte para nada . Tenía mucho cabello para trabajar con un mejor corte. Yo nunca iría con el a cortarme mi cabello.

Poor attitude. Bad energy. His messy hairdressing skills are questionable, and what hairdresser brushes out tangles in wet hair with a brush.
Won't watch anything else with him in it, real or staged.
Actually, my hairdresser does the same thing…she has to brush out the tangles before she can cut my hair and my hair does have a couple tangles after it is washed/conditioned. But the washing, I’ve never had that kind of washing experience 🤣…you’re not suppose to use nails on a scalp! I love the washing part it’s so relaxing, but I wouldn’t love that 🤣!

@@Lyssa_Inwonderland When hair is wet a brush can stretch and weaken it. Best to use a wide tooth comb, and detangle carefully from points to roots.
Ok sorry I miss spoke…you are correct! She doesn’t use an actual brush, she does use a wide tooth comb. When I said she “brushes” my hair, I actually meant she combs out the the tangles before cutting it…
