It would be nice if GM designers would make wheel wells round like tires are. You have to do a 6 inch lift to fit the same wheels and tires set up Ram and Ford can do with a level. And now there’s still a bunch of wheel well areas wide open.
I agree they could and should do better but to be fair you can fit a 37 with little effort on a leveled current platform GM HD if you stay with the stock wheel. If you go up to a zero offset you can still do it but requires additional trimming. This truck needs a lift because of the extreme negative wheel offset. I highly doubt a Ford or Ram are clearing 37x13.50's with a 24x12 -55 offset (looked up the offset of this wheel) on a level without major trimming.
@@MZZHZZWZZ true on the 37 but it doesn't change the fact that a standard 0 or -18 offset requires a big lift to fit 35's on 1500-3500. All they need to do is add a little angle to the fender wells. A leveled 24 2500 can not accept a 35 1250 22 -24 without an unreasonable amount of trimming.
Very true. Plus a round wheel well looks so much better when you want to fill the wells with the tires instead of 15" of clearance over the tire. Looks way better when the wheel stuff the wells IMO. I'm not a big fan of wheels that poke outside the wells for the sake of poke. If it's a meatier tire that sticks out, that's one thing. But just offsetting the wheels for the sake of poke, looks too janky to me.
Beautiful truck. Love the white with black. Needs some real nice wider fender flares painted white and will accept the factory fender flare lights. Sound system in the tailgate is stupid. Overall that truck outside and inside is just awesome. For the price it should have a power steering column that goes up and down as well as in and out.
I’m in California so what does the dealer do this to new stock trucks or what ? I’m looking for something like this. So how or who is the best to talk to about getting a tricked out truck that’s new from dealer. Like I said I’m new and looking
The brown interior is horrible though. They should give an option for black. The other thing I do not understand is why they put the trailer brake controller. on the console and not on the dash like they did in the Silverado. That Chevy wins.
Great truck, by any chance do you know who did the color match and the shop for the lift. I have a 2024 3500 ultimate but I can’t find a good shop that can guarantee me great work
Who is the lift manufacturer? I sell a variety of lift kits and no one has one for the 24. The keys from a 23 level will work with slight modification but the diff drop wont. Also the AT4X has a completly different lower, upper and spindle so i expect a kit for that to be way later.
I GUARANTEE you it's the cheapest you can find and marked up. Those are the cheapest fox shocks you can buy. And I'm so sick of everyone on here saying buying it lifted from the dealership is the ONLY way to keep you warranty. Buy a good lift and it will have its own warranty. If you cant take a part off and put a new one on yourself, yeah, you have to pay labor. But you don't lose your warranty on the truck.
Very nice looking truck ,very clean lines. Unfortunately for me the cost of these new trucks is out of range for the average person. Gm like most of the big 3 need to step up thier game in quality of thier products. Plus quit putting stupid shit on them kicker stereo in the tailgate that's absolutely useless.
Believe it or not I have never received a rock chip from a lifted truck, but have received many from passenger cars and semis covered in mud flaps lol.
@@MZZHZZWZZ It’s not the lift; it’s the poke. I’ve received at least one stone chip from a truck with wheels sticking out past the fenders, which isn’t a good record considering this stupid trend hasn’t been around that long.
@@dylanluhowy I realize what your saying but my point is rock chips come from all vehicles on the road regardless of tire poke. Mud flaps and fender flares do little to stop the rocks. Rocks will still eject from below the flap or fender, or hit the them and come out at an angle or straight down still putting your windshield at risk. My first comment is first hand experience of this statement being true. Unfortunately as long as vehicles have tires rock chips will be a part of life.
Great vids Ben. Just don’t get lifted trucks. Ruins the geometry & engineering. Towing, etc all messed up. Chews up tires. Manufacturers spend bazillions to get them correct & work properly. Same kinda dude in every one of them.
The secret to blacking out a car/truck is knowing WHAT PARTS to black out (whomever did this doesn't know the concept of negative space). This is amateur hour.

Ben can you please do more HD dually review...thank you in advance
Which AF wheels are these? Nemesis?
Love the lift. Body matched fender flares would be a great add. Sharp truck!
Wow, that truck is awesome , keep up the good work Ben.

Excellent job with your vids anyway friend.
When is GM or the aftermarket going to come out with lower ring and pinions for these?? 37s with 3.42 gears is no good.
6.6 max and lift? What's not to love?
I really like the design on that truck Ben.
Good job Ben!
When can I get those headlights for my truck?
nice truck review ben 10/10
My guess with lift, the American Force wheels, paint & markup, ur looking more at $150k

Awesome! Still looking for one of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No sure why ppl brag about the system in these trucks whether kicker or Bose the speakers are crap. I replaced the speakers on mine
Good video
Hey Ben! Does this lift affect the payload and towing capability of the truck? Holy Cow this truck is beautiful. Great review. Thanks
The lift is trash 😂
You don’t want that low entry garbage lift
@@revistadearmas you Mfs will hate on anything
Didn’t watch full vid, is this available Ben?
Ben, are the changes painted or wrapped?
Where do I buy?
Very nice 👍
Badass Truck
That is a beauty truck wish could afford that 💔
They must do a custom painted key white white
price? what brand lift?
Brand of lift judging by the lift badging under the doors is 5” zone lift
Sold already?
It’s sold already
What's the lift on it some of the lips only cost $2,000 cognito cost $4,000
Would never buy a new truck lifted from the dealership the mark up for probably a budget lift is insane lol
Thats the Only way to keep warranty
I would be interested if it was a dually and on 24'' rims and 37" tires lol But still a bad truck it's awesome

It makes the stock truck look like a Santa Cruz

If you look under the truck around the door area is the symbol for the lift kit which would be a 5” zone lift kit
I would do this EXACT build ❤❤❤❤
Next time show under the front end of the truck so we can see what type of lift kit it has
Looks like a zone lift, based on the torsion drop design, and it’s a 5” lift unless they stacked it
What's not to love for $100k + and a 10yr loan!
Nobody leaves for less than 1k per month lol
Meh, it's 8, and maybe you need to look for a higher paying job 🤷🏽♂️
I remembered when my dad bought 82 Toyota for 3k I was like whattt 3 year loan??????

If you NEED powered sidesteps, you DO NOT NEED a lifted truck. And blacked out tail lights suck
