I wont comment on the coffee making as it's personal preference, if you like it that short ratio and high dose no problem then. But I will give you a tip regarding the grinder, Titus also sells these on his Nautilus, get a pack of silencer feets they are called Oehlbach Puck One For All (55135). It will take away more than 50% of noise and all the vibrations.
Thanks for the thoughts Denis. I think I already have those on the bottom. Have you tried the 55044? They seem to have a higher rating with the newer air technology.
@@shawnsgear You probably already have them on the bottom of your VL. I know my Titus already has a set that looks similar to what Denis is talking about. www.oehlbach.com/en/audio-equip/pucks-spikes/one-for-all
@@eltakeiteasy interesting! I just checked and I definitely do not have those on my VL. I have four felt looking pads that look similar to furniture sliders. I wonder what the difference would be if I installed the ones in your link.
Thanks mate! I made it - add these two together: 1. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T56PLJQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 2. www.amazon.com/Syncwire-Universal-Dashboard-Adjustable-Compatible/dp/B07Q9L47H7/ref=dp_prsubs_2?pd_rd_i=B07Q9L47H7&th=1
Is this the 120 or 240V version? I am guessing the 240V could have better steaming power/recovery than the 120V due to the more powerful element(2400W vs 1400W)
I’d also love to try a bag! Happy to pay for beans and shipping. I’m digging your setup. You’ve inspired me to order an R24. Any other guidance would be much appreciated!
Technically that is a filter roast. It's very light for espresso but with a fluid bed roaster I'm able to get a high development % which makes it great for both!
@@jonahbrauer7387 yeah you could say that! I also normally pull shots with filter roast as I prefer super light (nordic) roast but on the higher development %
Great workflow. Definitely would like to grab a bag of that coffee!

What exactly are silencer feets? How does it make the grinder quieter? I have a VL M4. Was wondering if this would work with my grinder.

Love your videos! Dreamy set up. Where did you get your mirror from? Also will you ever do a video about your amazing watch collection?
