Round us in the fens a lot of people either spread barley before the final seedbed prep or drill it before they put beet in. The barley gets up and stops the land blowing then spray it out once the beet have a canopy

Great video Richard, ran out of grease then. Cut the rape down next year to 1 field save the worry, winter linseed or some more spring crops , beans you can plough them in , two jobs in one drilling and ploughing.
