oh my godd she's so inspiring !! I think you can include what types of people are suitable for the fashion industry, like other than being creative , are there any criteria ?

Queenie Leung Good question. Most industries want people from various walks of life. People who can bring a new, fresh perspective and a different way of doing things. I think if you have various skill sets eg, creative, analytical, promotional, etc you are suitable for the fashion industry or most industries for that matter. They need people who are good with numbers for their finance department. They'll need people who can hep them communicate their product to consumers. etc.
There are many departments involved in making a company successful. An internship gives you a taste of an organisation and the various departments that work together in going from A to B.
Watch the other interviews on this channel and you'll see a pattern forming on what employers look for from all industries.

Maybe you could mention some jobs that are not fashion based but the fashion industry could use? i.e a graphic designer could be useful for an online brand

+Greer Lindsay She sounds very inspiring, but right after that video I found an article on fashionista.com called 'why my-wardrobe failed'. Article saying that she wasn't actually that great.

Hi! I'm an aspiring fashionista and I have a degree in fashion merchandising. It's really been a challenge for me in figuring out what's next. There is SO MUCH that I would like to do in my career, however I don't know where to start. This video has really enlightened me thank you for posting! Does she have a direct email I can reach her at? I would like to know if she can offer some personal advice, or even an opportunity to intern?
