For several years now I've been watching TH-cam woodworking channels and yours is top of the list. I'm constantly sharing your content with my family, even though they don't appreciate it as well as I. Great wood skills, excellent entertainer, and most of all Best father ever.
The lego man doing the running man had me pissing myself laughing. Pretty slick work. The second head was definitely clutch for the proportions. Congrats on clean sweeping the award for dad of the year!
I have two kids of my own so I am a bit partial, so I will have to say that your son is also THE CUTEST KID IN THE UNIVERSE! I love how grateful and kind he was.
Your little boy is absolutely adorable. And so sweet too, which is clearly seen when he immediately said "thank you" after you showed him the completed project. Such good manners! How's the rest of that Lego world coming along? ;) Such a great toy and hopefully something he will cherish forever. I have a few wooden toys my dad made me when I was a kid and I'm so glad I still have them.
Loved all contained in this video Jason and specially the massage you applied for lego you made it to your son. Really you are genus woodworking. Thanks for inspiring us.
@@CeeJayThe13th haha. You just have to pick an easy number to scale it by. If you’re making on 10x bigger there really isn’t any math involved at all haha
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder at a woodworking video than when you massaged the oil on. Just a beautiful project, and a great example of how woodworking can be so much more than making miters and boxes.
I think this is absolutely brilliant. Beneath the self deprecating humour ( which I love) you are obviously a woodworker of considerable talent. Bravo.
OMG Jason..... first, wow what craftmanship and the fact you got almost to scale is incredible... second, the massage touch at the end cracked me up.... keep doing you my friend!!!!!
"Now for the oil..." LOL; what a hoot! Your nonchalant attitude "throwing" the project together with some new skills and old experience, along with your dry humor makes your videos entertaining and educational as well as very enjoyable. Looking forward to getting my workshop going this spring!
The job you do as a father always supersedes any other thing you do. I enjoy watching you interact with your son and I pray daily I do as well with my sons.
" scrap piece of 4x4 black walnut" Something I would never be able to say...LOL! Love your channel, thanks for all the content! ( That was brilliant by the way)
I was extremely sick with COVID when I watched this (Jason is so calm, I couldn’t watch much else during). Even though I was hooked up to I.V.s and was literally dying, I still started rolling when he oil massaged the lego man at the end. Then I was coughing up my lungs and internal organs from laughing......... Anyway. I lived and am much better. Maybe LEGO man oil massage contributed. Thanks Jason. Now finish that boat. You’re were driving me nuts doing that ladder with the boat sitting behind you.
Great job! The mercedes benz logo in the LEGO minifigure head is a product of an extremely important design element. In the early years of LEGO the head stud was completely solid, but when they remolded the head in the early 90s they realized that LEGO minifigure heads are a real choking hazard for small children. The hole was then added to allow for a child to still be able to breathe if they had a LEGO minifigure head lodged in their windpipe.
As a home woodworker and a HUGE LEGO fan (over 50 years and put a new set together last night) this was an amazing video to watch. I am so jealous of your son as I know my grandsons would love that guy. You did a wonderful job and I agree with the others - the oiling at the end pushed this video to the next level.
This was by far the most entertaining woodworking video I’ve ever seen. Your son’s reaction was great. Awesome job dad. You’re making the rest of us dads look bad. Jerk. LOL
OMG the ending had me rolling. Well all your videos have me rolling but the oil on the lego man was my fav. Your content is by far the best in the woodworking community. Thank You Thank You Thank You
That is crazy AWESOME Jason. Two big thumbs up!! You're sons reaction was the best reaction you could hope for, he's really going to enjoy it. I know my 30 year old son would love one.
Your son after seeing the lego man: "woww!! Can you make a whole lego world?!" Your wife after watching this video: "You have no more excuses to not give me massages."
Absolutely Genius. I have never commented on anything before but have to let you know this was superb! Excellent idea, outstanding result and just brilliant to watch.
I laughed and cried so during this entire video but always with a huge smile on my face. This is the most amazing thing I've seen in a long long time!!! Your son is going to love and cherish this for a long time to come!
I’ve watched a lot of woodworking videos by various woodworkers on TH-cam but that by far is one of the coolest things I have ever seen built. Amazing work!!
Pure Entertainment! Loved it. And even as an adult whose now 25 year old has moved away, I still build legos, and not that I'm dabbling in wood working, who knows!
Dang, this was a super cool build. I'm a master cabinet Builder for a large company, and I've just started woodworking as a hobby in recent years, trying to acquire tools and skills, thanks for your content.
The holes in the top of the head is there in case small kids swallow the piece and helps them not choke. BIC Pen caps have a hole for the same purpose.
Anyone else SHOCKED that Jason made the Lego guy bust a move at the end, including doing the worm? I wouldn't expect anything less from my favorite goofy TH-cam woodworker..
When I get depressed, all I have to do is watch one of your videos. You're amazingly funny and talented. And your son...... OMG! He's precious ... and I can't wait to see the whole Lego world!
I'm subscribed to a lot of woodworking videos on TH-cam your channel is absolutely the best you do such awesome work with every project this is one of the better ones you have an amazing talent
Jason love your videos!! The music is kick ass and your sense of humor is awesome!!! I actually laughed out loud when you started to oil the lego man. Keep up the wonderful and great videos. And thank you for all the info/tips and entertainment.
Wow! That was amazing. I have to say you really nailed it. Your Lego man came out so perfect it looks like it was machine made. Your an awesome father so keep up the good work!!!

Could you do a video on how to do some different cuts and how to mark them, ie a rounded end on a sheet for plywood (square base with an arch top).
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Finley Quinton Instablaster =)
The oil massage goes to show the comic genius that Jason is.
then he turns the head as if to say "please, no eye contact"
I legitimately lost it at that one!
Softcore porn
That was the best part
@@MrIrishalley When the stop motion began and the lego dude's face never looked away from the camera 💀
The first 2 things your son said were "I love it!" and "Thank You". You are doing a great job as a father.
The expression on your son's face was totally worth it. It was priceless!
Absolutely!
OMG. I literally LOL'd when you started the oil massage scene! You are THE MOST entertaining woodworker on TH-cam...hands down! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Dude, this is By Far, the Most Awesome build I've ever seen on TH-cam.

Dude gives the lego man an oil massage at the end. 😂😂 can’t stop laughing.
Same here. I have seen the massage twice so far 🤣. Jason can definitely moonlight as a comedian.

I really respect that you never just pulled out the calipers and took measurements.
I would’ve caved super early on and just started scaling numbers

Love it!
I swear, the Foreman has THE coolest Dad! Well done, Jason!
A classic. This should get 100 million views.
I love all your How2's but being a model and toy maker I really enjoyed this one. Thank you! Thank You!! Very Much!!!
And he used Walnut, our favorite!
This is one of the best projects I've seen. Furniture is great, but this kind of thing is what woodworking is REALLY for!

I know right, I nearly choked when he said that! Walnut is my absolute favourite wood to turn, and there's never enough of it!
His was laminated, I actually have a “scrap” piece of 4x4 black walnut. And one of old growth white oaks.
Yeah I was like did he just say scrap? That is a gorgeous piece of wood
“scrap walnut” is basically a TH-cam DIY meme at this point.
