A very eerie and creepy place
filled with loneliness and sadness,
the day is rather normal the cemetery
caretaker comes out from town nearby
and does his job as usual mowing the
grass and raking the leaves up making
minimal money each week but it's better
than nothing but he always makes sure
he's gone by six o'clock and back in town....
It's not necessarily the cemetery that scares him
it's that old abandoned house up on the hill that
keeps him away from here after sundown and it's
past residents who strongly dabbled in the occult
and other not so nice things but the people that
lived here if you want to call them that looked like
normal humans but looks can always be deceiving....
I don't blame caretaker and anyone else for wanting to
be out here especially at night because the former residents
are said to still be out here but most of them are dead supposedly
because they just up and disappeared and the house remained empty
all this time well as far as anyone knows it has been....
There have been many tales of this place especially at night but not sure
what to believe or not to believe but that's for you to decide though but me
you wouldn't catch me anywhere near here at night because I'll be at home
asleep and that's just where you should be....
HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA.

"Billy!" Margaret shouted from the massive, rusted gates, "Come back! This isn't the way home!"
His sister was right, Billy realized. But glancing back her way, he knew that wasn't the way home either.
Not anymore.
Trick-or-Treat would be forever now.
An endless night with pumpkins that glowed bright despite no candles inside.
Ancient castles with monsters, ghouls and other creatures dancing and reveling around a frozen clock.
Ghosts chasing one another through the sky past the forever full moon.
And a bag that would never, ever be empty of candy.
"This way, Maggie!" Billy shouted back as he moved past the graves towards the small house with the ghostly blue lamplight. It looked like a good place to call home.
Margaret would get used to it.
