My nephew Dom! I very proud of him. He comes from a lineage of musicians and singers and he is carrying his gifting to the next level. God is doing awesome things in his life.
God bless you Sean, u re really helping all other musicians. More grace. God bless you. Online music education has really helped us in this dispensation. We re catching the knowledge from all areas of the world. Am Masterfillz from Nigeria. God bless you. Am so glad to add this to myself.
Just went like his album on spotify. ❤ Thanks for the knowledge. I play at a traditional hispanic Church. Our "Pastora" like when we play like this. She gets very Motivated. Thanks Guys. GOD BLESS
I think the understated part of this video is his sound settings on his keyboard. I believe his settings are: Release -7, portamento +1 and brightness +10. These settings give you that nice crunchy and twitchy west coast sound we all love. God bless for this great breakdown video 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Grateful, Bro. Masterful, inclusive mentoring and thoughtful guidance that is supremely beneficial. Showers of Blessings to you and everyone connected, influenced and encouraged by you, Bro 🙏🏾👊🏾!
Great video! I wish he would’ve explained the walkup though - I may know a version, but I’d still like to hear how he plays it. But I guess that’s what the LMV is for.
Hey Sean! This is a wonderful video. I know you like Joey Alexander. He has a video called my favorite things ( in studio performance) make sure you get this one. He killed this song!👍🏽👍🏽I hope you do a tutorial on this one.
Thank you for sharing your gifts with us musicians. My question is what if you have small hands, what would be the important notes to keep the essence of the sound.
I like how you break the chord-roll-gliss notes, whatever you want to call it. It makes the chord sound fat. Rachmaninoff (Classical reference) is effective when played with the slight disjunct chords. Also you're using layered dynamics which makes classical piano playing interesting. Meaning each finger gets it's own dynamic, some louder or softer than others. It shapes the sound. I especially like this in your playing. Pull out some Rachmaninoff and grab those chords and I bet you would love the harmonies and sound you'd hear.
no, that would be too much detail to cover in a 10 minutes vid, the pattern works without a bass player though. Personally I wouldn't play bass on keys
Lol he said everyone should know the walk up... I don't :( I'm scouring youtube looking for tutorials on the walk up specifically as a place to Start. Any help appreciated
Man that first chord was not simple. My hand couldn’t even stretch that far let alone play five nots stretched that far 🥲 I’ll be back after I learn some basics

@@SeanWilsonPiano Thankfully I was able to get it from the MIDI file!
That lick at 6:03 is so sweet.

Great comparisons on the dynamics of various genres… thanks again!!
Very much needed! God bless you for this 🙏🏾
yeah man, thanks!
Are there any Midi Keys for this?
I need that drum track! it's HOT!!!!
That piano release is so aggressive lol
I didn’t know you could do that on the nord
@@samuelcunningham4860 if I'm not mistaken, the sounds are coming from his Montage on top
I thinks it's actually the phasing from hearing it twice from both the players stream and Sean's stream.
@@arronclarke6760 I think he has the motif midied to it actually. That’s power grand
Yeah it doesn’t sound like the nord. That’s midi’d to the montage above
Are we covering both aspects of having and not having a bass player? 🤓
no, that would be too much detail to cover in a 10 minutes vid, the pattern works without a bass player though. Personally I wouldn't play bass on keys
0:46 The story of everyone of us 😂
Lol he said everyone should know the walk up... I don't :(
I'm scouring youtube looking for tutorials on the walk up specifically as a place to Start. Any help appreciated

African American Gospel Music not just gospel music.
Man that first chord was not simple. My hand couldn’t even stretch that far let alone play five nots stretched that far 🥲 I’ll be back after I learn some basics
What is going on here!!!
Dom is a problem
This is good, but not for somebody truly in a BEGINNER stage.
