Can't believe this video is 7 years old but still relevant today. This was so helpful. I had no idea how to perform salt analysis and my practical is tomorrow. Thank you for all the awesome practical videos. What a wonderful and dedicated teacher you are!
But if a clear solution is not obtained, then do you retake the salt in a test tube and add dil HCl and still its not clear then u retake salt and add conc HCl??
Thnx a lot ma'am our tchr never explained the thing u deed also they just command us to do whether we understand or not but after watching ur vdo I'm damn sure that I have no fear for chemistry practical 🥲❤️
Being a NEET aspirant, salt analysis is very important for me. Thanks for making videos mam. Please make video on NEET chemistry imp questions mam please. Thank you. God bless you 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
Thank you ma'am at last I finished all anions and cations and acid-base titration from your " Super Helpful videos" . Now I feel much confident about my practicals tomorrow 😄. Thanks for your hard work ma'am . Three cheers for Ma'am. Hip hip hurray Hip hip hurray Hip hip hurray
Mam kaash mere teacher ne practiclas kabhi karwayw hote... kal final external practical hai.. pta nahi kya hoga... But after watching these videos I am feelong confident
I was in a doubt that Mg2+ has confirmatory test or not. So i searched comment section wheather anyone has asked or not and you commented to it or not. So I saw that you said in one comment that it's conf test is os+ naoh+ magneson reagent gives blue coloration and in another comment you said os + 4-5 drops of magneson reagent gives blue colouration . So what's the correct one. Wheather we have to add naoh or not in conf test? Plz reply
Maam in my lab manual for grp 6 it is written like this O.S + NH4Cl or NH4OH + ammonium phosphate ----->gives white ppt ------> and Mg2+ is present For confirmatory test Cobalt nitrate + salt-----> pink colour and Mg2+ confirmed.... Is this reagent for grp 6 is correct/work!???

These guys are lucky to have a teacher like u!!
OS is original solution. just salt pinch dissolved in water
But if a clear solution is not obtained, then do you retake the salt in a test tube and add dil HCl and still its not clear then u retake salt and add conc HCl??
Pro Catalyst yes
Ma'am what is the confirmatory test for Mg
@@ezzpizzy That is in Original solution (O.S) you have to add NaHPO4 then white ppt is obtained which confirms the presence of Mg+2
Practicals in 8 hrs and this was worth it
Lmao same........
Same
Where are you now bro?
1 hr 15 min😵
Same bro
Being a JEE aspirant I have learnt all the reactions before hand.... Seeing the demonstrations feel so good now. Thank You Ma'am

mam at 1:56 she used tap water to prepare os is it okay to use tap water for os?????
Use distill
thank u ma'am, my chem practical is in 3 days and i learned everything (titration, salt analysis and functional grp) from u only!!
All the best
i cant thank u in words mam you are just amazing❤❤❤❤
Most welcome 😊

Thank you for explaining
Such a clear and helpful video thank you so much!
This video was really helpful.. Thanks
Ma'am really it is helpful
mam plz upload video for mixture analysis
Ma'am, can you please list the cations present in
Group 2?
You have explained very well
Very helpful
Please do a video on identification of cation as well as anion for BaS
I didn't get precipitate for Aluminum( group 3).. what might be the reason??.. plx say
Haha al is not present
I feel like I was In the lab, observing all these. Thank you
and students like me are busy in gossips😂😂😂😂😂and then we come at one day before the practical exam to watch the practicals😂😂😂😂😂
Why did we not directly add group 5 reagent to the salt, instead added NH4Cl and NH4OH and then the group 5 reagent?
Thank you ma'am at last I finished all anions and cations and acid-base titration from your

Na2Hpo4- Disodium hydrogen phosphate
Thanks so much this helped me a alot
Glad it helped
@@seemamakhijani721 txx mam u replied too 🥺
do we get the same white ppt if we use salt solution + NH4Cl + NH4OH+ (NH4)2PO4 ?
Yes
Bro r u 2019 batch
Mam please do another video for MgSo4 salt. Please mam
This is helpful for cation
MA'AM isme 3rd ke baad 4th samuh bhi anupasthit hai kya please bataiyega please
Thank you very much mam😊
Most welcome 😊
Thank you!
Good video but in analysis of 3 grp u didn't added conc. HNO3.
Practical in 5 hrs thanks ma'am
Mam can u show the salt analysis n confirmatory test for NO3-.....
Check out she has already made it I have seen it and now have a clear concept about NO3 -
I didnt know you can directly add disodium hydrogen phosphate to the solution for group 5. Or is it a case for this salt only?
You didn't add dil hcl when proceeding for group five
Fantastic experiment
Mam is discarding the solution after group 2 negative test compulsory????..
Thank you so much mam
Mam how to pass H2S gas through the solution ? We don't have kipps apparatus in our school.
i cant understand in school but maam you helped me lot thank you
Thank u very much Ma'm...
thx mam.......
Mam pls make video for confirmatory test of magnesium
Magnesium has one and only test which is confirmatory in itself
Why no centrifugation
3:55 2-3 drops of Nitric acid
Thank you so much
Ma'am,Will I get white ppt if I add ammonium phosphate along with ammonium chloride and ammonium hydroxide...Please reply ma'am
Ys
Test tube holder nhi h kya
Mam please reply why did I get a white precipitate on adding NH4Cl followed by NH4OH to the os of Mg salt???
You would not have dissolved the NH4Cl before adding the NH4OH
Mam kaash mere teacher ne practiclas kabhi karwayw hote... kal final external practical hai.. pta nahi kya hoga...
But after watching these videos I am feelong confident
This was a really great video mam cleared all my doubts! :D

why did she directly moved to group 5 after absence of group 3
3:20 why didnt used conc HNO3?
Not needed
But why
6:00
Ma'am can we use Ammonium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate solution in place if ammonium phosphate Solution...to obtain white ppt...??
Ys
11 s lekar aaj bsc m hu aap s hi pad raha hu
A day before the practical 👾
U r best mam👍
mam will we not add HNO3 before preparing for grp 3
Thats only if the sakt is light green in colour
worth it♥️
Other than salt analysis and titration experiment ,are they going to give functional group experiments also?
Yes you have to do three experiments for board practicals.
Ok😊
Mam could you please upload videos of identification of function groups and biomolecules
Unfortunately I don’t get the word she says at 0:39 would be great if anyone could help me out! Thank you!
NaOH
What about the confirmatory test for magnesium ??
this is the confirmatory test as well coz there are no other ions in Group 6 or after
Today is our practical.
Maam in my lab manual for grp 6 it is written like this
O.S + NH4Cl or NH4OH + ammonium phosphate ----->gives white ppt ------> and Mg2+ is present
For confirmatory test
Cobalt nitrate + salt-----> pink colour and Mg2+ confirmed.... Is this reagent for grp 6 is correct/work!???
can we use diammonium hydrogen phosphate instead of disodium for group 6?
Yes
Ma'm so there is no need for confirmatory test for Mg2+ ion ryt if we do this ?
Ya
But if you have the magneson reagent then you can .take OS 1ml + 4-5 drops magneson reagent you will get blue ppt to confirm Mg+2
Thank You mam..I have my practicals day after tomorrow your videos were of immense help especially during lockdown..Thank you once again.
in which school do you teach
fr agnel school bhopal
Are you her former student ?
For group 3 why ammonium chloride powder is added why not
its solution
As we need more amount of ammonium ions for the common ion effect . This topic is in my channel u can go through it.
Mam acid cl- , basic mg2+ redicles video please
Already done check my channel playlists
