I just hope, because there were a lot of content skipped from Re Destro introduction (hos actually introduction) and Spinner stuff in which I forgot until I reread chapter 219... yeah I see why manga readers are upset with the anime handling... So I hope MVA is being to be continued into season 6 because the way they dragged the fuck out of EA arc and the constant flashback in the Class A vs Class B arc... to squeeze 23 chapters into 6 episodes is not fair to Horikoshi and the MHA community. There is no reason to drag out a 12 chapter arc (EA) with a filler and the Aizawa's portion that actually is the prolouge of a different arc just to fill in a movie that the Japanese fans said was handled poorly written wise.
The point Shigaraki has been trying to make throughout the entire show is that everyone relies too much on heroes. People stop helping others because "a hero will get to it themselves". And especially with All Might. All of society's expectations were put on one man and the moment that man vanished, everything fell to pieces. It's the equivalent of literally putting all of your eggs in one basket and is hurting people in society who get forgotten or left behind.

But how? Unless midoriya got an experiment or surgery and i bet a mother of 4 yr old kid would allow that and if they really got to steal midoriya's "quirk" he should have been paralyzed thats how afo steal quirks. They just got to see the doctor for xray or check up.

Shigaraki wants to destroy everything because he feels let down by how the society has failed n rescuing him showing how easily villains can be created by the failed hero society and the public being too reliant on heroes like all might n how him existing messed things up in a way that people are dependent on others helping and not themselves stepping up. children who are abused often have fragmented memory and pieces of their past missing, or even all of it. tomura having a fragmented memory is very accurate considering the trauma that he went through at such a young age

Honestly the comparison to Eri is pretty great. Imagine if All for One was walking down the street at the moment Eri ran from Chisaki instead of Deku & LeMillion. If AFO showed her his manipulative comfort, she could've been just as instantly attached to him as she was to Deku. I'm sure AFO would've loved to use her quirk. Probably would've stolen Chisaki's.

@@technos_orphan_obliterator But Nana Shimuras quirk is float, not Decay. It was mentioned that Shigaraki quirk was a mutation, meaning that it wasn't related to any of his family but just a random mutated quirk

This episode was amazing but sadly, they cut a lot of things like character interactions and gore(shit gets pretty dark). I recommend anime onlys to read this arc in the manga. It'll be worth it!

Spinner’s whole-ass narration about himself and LOV during the start of MVA. 4. LOV’s current living situation after the Camino Hideout Raid Arc and Shie Hassaikai Arc. 5. Dabi’s stylish entrance to the LOV hideout after burning people alive in chapter 220. 6. Shigaraki and Spinner’s huge-ass argument about their current situation and job. 7. Dr. Ujiko’s comedic moment for not showing his face to the LOV. 8. Shigaraki’s extended vomiting scene (I’m glad the anime cut it short cause to me it’s kinda gross). 9. There was this double-page spread scene which indicates what Shigaraki wants to destroy. (A new born baby, Endeavor wants to visit Rei at the hospital with her favorite blue flowers in his hands but couldn’t do it because of her current health condition, Mt. Eri is a very good example to use when comparing shigaraki. Society (Deku and Mirio) didn't fail Eri, but society failed Shigaraki by leaving him on the side

3:21 Todoroki has 2 quirks, I just think it's not that common seeing someone with more than one. Also since the doctor was Deku's doctor, and works for All for one, there's a theory that he took Deku's quirk when he was a child. And poor Shigaraki, manipulated and traumatized since he was young
Todoroki's quirk has 2 different effects but considered as one quirk half cold half hot. And remember when afo steal someone quirks they would be paralyzed but we havent seen deku in that situation.
Ok first of all, don't listen to manga readers/comments. Just enjoy it for what it is and make an opinion then. In terms of cut content there were 2 chunks cut: One cut was for the introduction of the Meta Liberation Army. HOWEVER, the cut content is in the preview for next weeks episode so they're actually not cutting it out, just reordering scenes. So there's no reason for people to be complaining. The other cut was to do with the villains specifically Spinner. Now again, because of the previous paragraph, we know they're re- ordering scenes so AGAIN the cut scenes COULD show up later so let's just see how the episodes play out before we judge. In terms of censoring, MHA has censored from the very beginning so there's no reason at all for anyone to be complaining. Just enjoy what's been given. A lot of anime onlys liked this episode
The reason why it’s censored is cause of the timeslot MHA is on. MHA, JJK, and Demon slayer are under Shonen Jump but jjk and DS were able to show blood cause they aired at night in japan. Imo if they butcher toga, twice and shiggys backstory it might not hit the same. MHA airs after a kids anime, so imagine what happens if they didn’t censor MHA
Finally someone with some sense. It's understandable why some would be annoyed that we're not getting a 1:1 adaptation, but these manga readers that are so quick to put this on the same level as Promised Neverland S2 are shortsighted.
If they don't show the stuff with Spinner and the CRC at all, I don't think it should be that big of a deal. From what I know of it, it isn't that important to the arc or the overall story, right? Overall, I don't care what's "wrong" with the adaptation, I still love the anime and it remains one of my favorites. Since I don't read the manga, I'm more capable of overlooking any differences between the two versions that I'm made aware of. The anime might not be the best adaptation (not the worst either), but I still think it's a phenomenal standalone anime.

3:30 also you've seen people already even in the beginning of the show having multiple quirks. Todoroki and Bakugo are examples. Bakugo, as his mother had moisturising effects with the quirk glycerin showing her youthfulness and his father has oxidising sweat. creating together for Bakugo gives him his explosions. Though underneath the surface of his Quirk, Bakugo wields 2 quirks already
By the end of this arc, we’ll most likely be shown an episode where we see more of Shigarki’s past. It’s absolutely heartbreaking, his dad had it coming though.
Technically the Liberation army isn't evil Per se. Ultimately they are ordinary people that want to be free to legally use their quirks openly and freely.
Studio Bones have handled this season horribly. Subpar animation, skipping maga content, rearranging scenes and filler. Just disappointing how they handled what should have been MHA's best season. I 100% this is the movie's fault tht this season was handled so bad

The pacing and cut manga panels was trash yes. I gotta disagree with you on that animation comment though. It's been really consistent and good. Overal this season was pretty disappointing though.
Tbh I only noticed that was Deku's doctor because there was a famous theory (I believe that was a few years ago I was in like season 2-3 when I watched that) that said probably that doctor stole Deku's power(quirk) when he was a kid and he was bad, seeing from the anime they got that he was bad but probably did not stole Deku's quirk.
What the Dr mean its that Gigantomachia can handle multiple quirks its because of his great resistance and stamina, no normal human can handle it easy because its too much for the user's body and mind healthy. And the part that says "without modification" I means that he doesn't need to be like a Nomu, Deku or AFO. I guess that AFO give him other quirks that he can handle thanks to his resistance.
As a manga reader I'm very disappointed with the adaptation of this season 5, because of this damn movie they changed the order of events, cut important scenes and censored some scenes, and what bothered me the most was this last ep released, besides having cut the scene of the introduction of the character Re-destrro, whoever watched the anime doesn't understand anything, besides the lack of impact in important scenes, they didn't even put a soundtrack in Shigaraki's speech, seriously, as a fan, I'm very disappointed.

I believe they say he can handle multiple quirks without modification because he isn't a nomu. Nomu have to undergo modifications to handle multiple quirks. If I recall correctly, regular humans cannot handle being given multiple quirks by All-for-One and they break down and die unless they are modified into Nomus during the process. Gigantomachia is much more durable than regular people. There's no telling what other abilities he has aside from his insane strength and stamina.
Man seeing that young Shigaraki made me sad how he was crying and all for one is just using him but seriously man that's horrible using anybody is but using a child is just worse Shigarki seems to have had no one to rely on and from the conversation it seems no one saved him which means that AFO is probably that only one that was there for him

Yeah but the difference between kadzutora and shigaraki is, that tomura (tenko) killed his family accidentally when his quirk activated, just like eri. And kadzu killed a person on purpose just to steal the bike. I feel bad for tomura and what he had to go through :(
I think they do have similarities but shigaraki and kazutora are very different though. Kazutora is in denial of what he did and is trying to place the blame on others. Shigaraki knows what he did but is upset because the world has this current mindset that when bad things happen heroes show up but none showed up for him, AFO did. He wants to destroy the worlds idea that heroes are perfect

Honestly the comparison to Eri is pretty great. Imagine if All for One was walking down the street at the moment Eri ran from Chisaki instead of Deku & LeMillion.
If AFO showed her his manipulative comfort, she could've been just as instantly attached to him as she was to Deku. I'm sure AFO would've loved to use her quirk. Probably would've stolen Chisaki's.

@@technos_orphan_obliterator But Nana Shimuras quirk is float, not Decay. It was mentioned that Shigaraki quirk was a mutation, meaning that it wasn't related to any of his family but just a random mutated quirk

Bz he is physically very strong to carry multiple quirks.
This episode was amazing but sadly, they cut a lot of things like character interactions and gore(shit gets pretty dark). I recommend anime onlys to read this arc in the manga. It'll be worth it!

Todoroki's quirk has 2 different effects but considered as one quirk half cold half hot. And remember when afo steal someone quirks they would be paralyzed but we havent seen deku in that situation.

Ok first of all, don't listen to manga readers/comments. Just enjoy it for what it is and make an opinion then.
In terms of cut content there were 2 chunks cut:
One cut was for the introduction of the Meta Liberation Army. HOWEVER, the cut content is in the preview for next weeks episode so they're actually not cutting it out, just reordering scenes. So there's no reason for people to be complaining.
The other cut was to do with the villains specifically Spinner. Now again, because of the previous paragraph, we know they're re- ordering scenes so AGAIN the cut scenes COULD show up later so let's just see how the episodes play out before we judge.
In terms of censoring, MHA has censored from the very beginning so there's no reason at all for anyone to be complaining.
Just enjoy what's been given. A lot of anime onlys liked this episode
The reason why it’s censored is cause of the timeslot MHA is on. MHA, JJK, and Demon slayer are under Shonen Jump but jjk and DS were able to show blood cause they aired at night in japan. Imo if they butcher toga, twice and shiggys backstory it might not hit the same. MHA airs after a kids anime, so imagine what happens if they didn’t censor MHA
Finally someone with some sense. It's understandable why some would be annoyed that we're not getting a 1:1 adaptation, but these manga readers that are so quick to put this on the same level as Promised Neverland S2 are shortsighted.
If they don't show the stuff with Spinner and the CRC at all, I don't think it should be that big of a deal. From what I know of it, it isn't that important to the arc or the overall story, right?
Overall, I don't care what's "wrong" with the adaptation, I still love the anime and it remains one of my favorites. Since I don't read the manga, I'm more capable of overlooking any differences between the two versions that I'm made aware of. The anime might not be the best adaptation (not the worst either), but I still think it's a phenomenal standalone anime.

Bakugo, as his mother had moisturising effects with the quirk glycerin showing her youthfulness and his father has oxidising sweat. creating together for Bakugo gives him his explosions. Though underneath the surface of his Quirk, Bakugo wields 2 quirks already
By the end of this arc, we’ll most likely be shown an episode where we see more of Shigarki’s past. It’s absolutely heartbreaking, his dad had it coming though.

Technically the Liberation army isn't evil Per se. Ultimately they are ordinary people that want to be free to legally use their quirks openly and freely.

Studio Bones have handled this season horribly. Subpar animation, skipping maga content, rearranging scenes and filler. Just disappointing how they handled what should have been MHA's best season. I 100% this is the movie's fault tht this season was handled so bad

Tbh I only noticed that was Deku's doctor because there was a famous theory (I believe that was a few years ago I was in like season 2-3 when I watched that) that said probably that doctor stole Deku's power(quirk) when he was a kid and he was bad, seeing from the anime they got that he was bad but probably did not stole Deku's quirk.
What the Dr mean its that Gigantomachia can handle multiple quirks its because of his great resistance and stamina, no normal human can handle it easy because its too much for the user's body and mind healthy. And the part that says "without modification" I means that he doesn't need to be like a Nomu, Deku or AFO. I guess that AFO give him other quirks that he can handle thanks to his resistance.
As a manga reader I'm very disappointed with the adaptation of this season 5, because of this damn movie they changed the order of events, cut important scenes and censored some scenes, and what bothered me the most was this last ep released, besides having cut the scene of the introduction of the character Re-destrro, whoever watched the anime doesn't understand anything, besides the lack of impact in important scenes, they didn't even put a soundtrack in Shigaraki's speech, seriously, as a fan, I'm very disappointed.

I believe they say he can handle multiple quirks without modification because he isn't a nomu. Nomu have to undergo modifications to handle multiple quirks. If I recall correctly, regular humans cannot handle being given multiple quirks by All-for-One and they break down and die unless they are modified into Nomus during the process. Gigantomachia is much more durable than regular people. There's no telling what other abilities he has aside from his insane strength and stamina.
Honestly, it's kinda pisses me off. Why does every reactor forget that Tomura called his face hand "Father" started from the first season???

Yeah but the difference between kadzutora and shigaraki is, that tomura (tenko) killed his family accidentally when his quirk activated, just like eri. And kadzu killed a person on purpose just to steal the bike. I feel bad for tomura and what he had to go through :(

I think they do have similarities but shigaraki and kazutora are very different though. Kazutora is in denial of what he did and is trying to place the blame on others. Shigaraki knows what he did but is upset because the world has this current mindset that when bad things happen heroes show up but none showed up for him, AFO did. He wants to destroy the worlds idea that heroes are perfect
