i recommend Extra Lights , especially blinking back ones and Hi-Viz Vest . In snow air down tires a little for better grip . I put seat lower for better balance ,and to reach ground with feet in case of slippage . Be Seen folks ⚡💡

Wiping the bike after every ride seems excessive... I rince the bike with water once a week to remove salt but I'm not going to dry it with a towel every day that's intense. Fat Ebike were made for snow so they're supposed to be water resistant and no be damaged with little water drops.

For winter storage, I wish I had a way to discharge my battery other than riding. Every time I bring this up in the blogs, someone always says "why don't you just ride it". Well, since 2018 when I got my RCS, I have never been able to discharge my battery by riding it down to 50% due to the weather in my area. We go right from decent riding weather to cold weather, and I won't ride in the cold and/or rain. So I want something to discharge my battery down to 50%. I have an escooter to that needs the same thing for its 48v LiFePo4 battery. I had hoped the $350 Grin smart charger that came with my RCS would have have a discharge mode, but nope.

you could let it free spin on the kickstand for an hour or so with the throttle taped down 🤷🏽‍♀

@@NWforager That could be bad. My bike is 78 lbs loaded. If it slipped off the stand, it would go for its own ride. maybe hurt someone. I leave the 10w headlight on, but it automatically shuts off in a few minutes if the bike isn't moving.

find an incandescent light bulb the same voltage as the battery that uses 60w or more or use a string of lower voltage bulbs in series ie 4x 12v for a 48 battery. the wattage need not be as high as the wattage adds up in the total of series bulbs, 15w x 4 = 60w
