That focal tassel is gorgeous! Love how the garnet plays off the other colors. Do you think it would work to put a chain and a bead strand together on one jump ring? I guess the tassel might be more "condensed" that way, rather than wide. Just a bit of a different look, I'm thinking. Still, whatever, I love this tassel! All metals tarnish except stainless steel. I keep mine in ziplock baggies with an anti tarnish strip to prevent it. I've never had them turn my skin colors.
