Ignore the toxic people, most on filipinos are loving and friendly maybe 10% only are toxic. Thanks for including our country to your reaction. We are gladly that foreigner are getting attention our country. Don't worry if you are visit in the Phil.you are welcome with full of love and hospitality.
Whoever said that you were Pinoy Baiting was way wrong. To me you 2 seem to just like learning about the location and want to visit. That's just my opinion.
Spain discovered Philippines before they did Mexico or the Americas, for years bringing Filipinos on the lands. So if they say Philippines is the Mexico of Asia, they are wrong. Mexico is the Philippines of the Americas. Filipinos are just more resilient with keeping their language which is why Spanish didn’t remain as the National language like Mexico did.
Pinoy baiting accusations-Ignore them, I mean this is still entertainment so it's a win-win situation, no harm done unless you're already butt kissing 😉
I've seen a bunch of creators here that actually is " Pinoy Baiting". You just don't feel the sincerity but with you guys, it felt like I'm watching you learning and understanding the content you are reacting to and as a Filipino, it's something I can appreciate so much.
Pinoy baiting is not an issue in my point of view. Yes Filipino loves social media a lot so most of TH-camrs makes video about the Philippines to earn many viewers but it's our choice if we watch the video or not right? Besides it's TH-cam what do you expect they make effort editing videos for nothing? I do love watching this kind video cuz it's also promoting our country.
Besides guys it's their videos. Filipinos if you don't like their videos or if you think they are "Pinoy baiting", you are free to leave and not watch their channel. Just don't be rude. Someway or somehow, fate will find its way to reveal who is right and who is wrong in their intentions. Good vibes lang palagi please!
Hello from philippines, just ignore the bashers, for me a foreigner reacting about the philippines is not a bad thing, its a win win situation actually, as you can see we/filipinos are very supportive when it comes to filipino content just anything about the philippines, its a win win situation because, we can help you gaining more subscribers if not viewers, and at the same time, your helping us also to educate other people about the philippines especially to those people who have no idea about our country and culture,. There are some reactors who actually do that pinoy baiting thing but not all reactors are doing that, just continue reacting about the philippines.
i dont think its a pinoybaiting... for me as a Filipino, im really glad that other country (foreign people) see whats more Philippines can offer. it makes other people who watch youtube more aware that Philippines is so awesome that you want to visit there and experience out of this world and breathtaking scenaries. I totally support "The Commodity" for doing that. thanks to Miles at Phezz.more power.love you guys
✌️😅🇵🇭 Sorry for this is definitely a long comment. In the Philippines, we Filipinos, especially nowadays with our new curriculum and educational system since 2012, at least learn first about the values of respect, kindness, compassion, care, and empathy, among others, for other people, and also things like differences, similarities, uniqueness, diversity, variety, harmony, unity, community and sense of community, socialization and making friends, cooperation, teamwork, camaraderie, and the like as early as in Kindergarten or Pre-school, and then we begin to get more specific about the existence of various other religions, beliefs, and belief systems aside from one's own as early as in elementary or grade school, and that we need and should learn to have and show or demonstrate respect, empathy, appreciation, and understanding to other people, and their faiths, their beliefs, their cultures, their backgrounds, their ideas and opinions, their perspectives or points-of-view, their rituals, their kind or form of worship, their creeds, and their places of worship, as well as the having, sharing, and showing or demonstrating general values and virtues, especially those which are uniquely Filipino, amidst the diversity, variety, uniqueness, and differences of the people, ethnicities, and communities of the Philippines. We generally learn about Roman Catholicism, some other forms of Christianity like Protestantism among others, and Sunni Islam. We learn these stuffs mainly in our Values/Character Education and Social Studies school subjects aside from also being integrated in language arts subjects like Mother Tongue, Filipino, and English language and literature school subjects. In high school or secondary school, first specifically in lower secondary school or junior high school, we begin to learn a little bit more not just about Christianity and Islam in the Philippines but also some of the other main or major religions, beliefs, belief systems, worldviews, faiths, and philosophies of or from around Asia and the world like Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Sikhism, Jainism, Taoism/Daoism, among others, and other forms of Christianity and Islam like Shia Islam and Orthodox or Eastern Orthodox Christianity. We just learn some and general introduction or overview things about these. These are taught and/or are integrated in our Values/Character Education, Social Studies, Filipino language and literature, and English language and literature school subjects. In upper secondary school or senior high school, we do not learn much anymore about these things, but we learn again general stuffs about religions, beliefs, belief systems, and woeldviews as a part of one of our one semester Social Sciences core course subject, unless you are an Academic Track - Humanities and Social Sciences specialization studentwhose going to learn, in a one semester specialization coure, more things about religions, beliefs, belief systems, and worldviews, and then more specifically about Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Theravada Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism, Confucianism, Shintoism, and Taoism/Daoism, which are the main or major world religions. We do not and cannot study or learn all or everything about and of religions, beliefs, belief systems, and worldviews around the world nor even just in the Philippines alone, especially the more and other specific and small sects, branches, denominations, and cults, but we try to at least learn and study something or a little bit about the general, overview, or introduction of each of the major or main religions in the Philippines and and then in Asia and around the world. Religious Education in the Philippines isn't perfect nor even that much comprehensive, but it's pretty decent and good, and then its just up to the learner or student to extend his or her learning or studies such as to learn more or in breadth or to learn more about the specifics or in depth. There are also some public schools (pre-school, elementary or grade school, or even up to junior or up to senior secondary or high school) that allows or allots Religion Classes for Roman Catholic Cathechisms that is open for the majority of Roman Catholic Christian students or learners around the country given by local cathechists of their local and/or community Roman Catholic Christian parishes, apostolic vicariates, prelatures, suffragan dioceses, or metropolitan archdioceses, but is also open for other students or learners to attend, sit in, or listen to. Beyond that, there are also various religious schools in the Philippines, mostly private schools, colleges, universities, and other schools and higher educational institutions, such as Roman Catholic Christian schools and other non-Roman Catholic Christian schools, that includes or integrates Christian and Christianity-related lessons in their school curricula, which are usually, typically, or commonly mandatory or compulsory, and some are voluntary or are offered or served as school electives that Roman Catholic Christian students or learners can choose to take or not. There are also public and private Islamic schools in the Philippines (pre-school, or elementary or grade school, and even up to junior or up to senior high or secondary school) that at least includes or integrates Arabic Language and Islamic Values lessons in their school curricula, or are full-pledged madrasahs that includes or integrates more Arabic Language, Islamic Values, and lessons about Sunni Islam. There are also private Chinese schools in the Philippines, but they usually, typically, or commonly include or integrate Chinese language/s and/or dialect/s, Chinese traditions and culture, Chinese writing and literature, Chinese calligraphy, and Chinese history on their school curricula rather or more than about Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism/Daoism, Chinese folk religion/s, Chinese shamanism or Wuism, Chinese syncretic religion/s, and/or other Chinese religions of or from Mainland China and in the Philippines.
We don't teach "Religion" in public schools (Catholic and other Christian Schools do). But we discuss and learn about different religions in the world especially Christianity and Islam so that we would know how to act towards others religion and be able to understand and respect them. We also have a subject called "Values Education" which focuses on human morality.
I started loving these two. 💕 You're both welcome here in the 🇵🇭. I love that you are trying to explain yourself to avoid arguments/conflicts. Your intention in making these type of videos are clearly pure. I enjoyed watching you both. 😊
Whoever said that are jealous, I'm sorry if you experienced that. We, filipino love you guys. We appreciate every videos about Philippines that you published.
I like your honesty guys. Filipino baiting is something that upset some Pinoys. Telling this disclaimer should be enough to stop them from speaking ill of you. Keep it up. Thanks guys
Good morning Gentlemen❣️🇺🇸🇵🇭 I'm from the Philippines residing now in Las Vegas, Nevada. Happy to have watched two of your videos regarding the Philippines. Was convinced to sub this channel, you are honest and transparent in your perspective in life. Everybody gained from you tube depending on your contents. Hope you will visit my motherland, who knows you' ll gonna like to live and spend sometime like many foreign vloggers who opted to come back and reside in BGC after two years of visiting back and forth. I recommend Mike & Nelly Making it happen, George & Lucy from Austria & Germany, George & Lucy from UK, Finn Snow from Iceland, Becoming Pilipino from Canada & Eight miles from home from UK, who are now residing in the Philippines. Thank you, keep your vlogs coming. Have a great and safe weekend to you both❣️😘😍👌👀🙏🌴🎋☘️
you cannot please everyone, don't mind those people, the facts is there's is good and there's is bad everywhere. I almost watched your vlog to the Philippines and I see that your reaction is real.thank you anyway because we learned something from both of you.
Don't mind anyone that's toxic. Keep doing what you do. We all know people in youtube are making contents to be monetized. Stupid is someone who doesn't know that. 💖 We love you guys.
There sure are some people who'd think this is Pinoy Baiting but you have done different reactions such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Love your videos and thanks for reacting to The Philippines. Love from Philippines 😘😍
yep that's right one of the oldest school in Asia "San Carlos University" here in my hometown Cebu and it's very near in my home just walk by. Greetings from Cebu City, Philippines.
This is a very nice reaction video. I like how you guys were learning more about our culture, while we as an audience are also learning about yours. So it's a win-win situation. Keep up the great work!
I DONT CARE IF ITS BAITING OR NOT .WHAT IMPORTANT IS SOMEONE IS GIVING EFFORT TO FEATURES PHILIPPINES IN THEIR CONTENT ! .TO KNOW THE PHILIPPINES MORE FOR ME ITS JUST AWESOME! 🇵🇭🔥
The Filipino upper class families everyday speak english even in regular conversation daily. Some upper class families still speak spanish or even chinese. But in the middle or lower class categories filipino or tagalog is a regular common language. But in business english mostly is used for business transactions.
Y'all uploaded this at the perfect time😁😁 it's our independence day today!! I love your videossss🤗❤ Thank you for watching and trying to learn about the Philippines and I'm so sorry for whoever said that y'all are pinoy baiting. I think you guys are genuinely curious and willing to learn but please do also understand their side as there are alot of youtubers who upload Filipino related content and react/watch ungenuinely and half-heartedly. Anywayssss continue creating this type of content 😁😁 God Bless!!
Filipinos are really strong because our nurses are usually only 5'2-5'4 yet they're able to care for American patients twice their size and their weight. Look at Manny Pacquiao as an example. Most Pinoy boxers are naturally shorter yet able to win against heavier Western opponents.
Filipino here, discovered your channel recently, kept watching on and on..... yeah pinoy-baiting has been a constant topic for YT content creators BUT who cares, you make good video reviews, you guys rock \../,
Most countries all over the world, the education system when it comes to religion they tell us the origin and how it is being practiced by the countries that follow it and that's how we learn how to respect and co exist with each other.
Those who criticize people for Pinoy baiting are just hypocrites and negative critics. I think they want to just hurt other people for no good reason at all. They're just envious. Doing research or watching videos while showing your reactions to new information about the Philippines is the smart way to go.
i remember on my elementary days we will have a mass every week, all the students, teachers and staffs will be called to the school gym for mass, but our muslim classmates will remain in the classrooms
The pinoy baiting vlog .they are so amaze i mean super amaze out of normal .you will notice it in there face .just like the food blooger when he eat the food .hahahaha
Our elementary public schools have subject about religion, mostly thought by a nun or priest. Some private schools have it too. As for other religions, it’s mostly thought by a specific subject in passing like social studies.
So growing up in the Philippines, yes we were taught of the way we position the flag...most days in it was rainy and when the rain is on we used to take our flag of the flagpole and hang it on the wall in front of the school building, and we have to be very careful which sides the red and blue are on. I don' know if they still teach kids that nowadays.
Different people, different opinions. So if you're someone who thinks something is click baiting then why even waste time to take a peek? Just shrug it off guys. Happy 123rd Independence day to us PH. June 12, 1898.
Do not worry, you can always know those who are baiting and those who are not. You can just see how they act and the way they hype things up. You appear to be sincere and genuine even without clearing that up.
Another derivative and descendant of the willy's jeep here in the Philippines are what we call stainless owner type jeeps. You might want to check them out.
Dont worry guys, we feel your sincerity. Viewers would know if the creators are just doing pinoybaiting... and its not true in your channel. We love you!!! All the best!
i actually believe that teaching religion in schools are for education or awareness since the Philippines has Islam, Christianity and Roman Catholic. Yes, I separated it because there's a huge difference between them. We Filipinos or other countries with diverse beliefs really need it in the education system for us to know, respect and understand one another
English language is widely spoken not just in schools and workplace. If you guys mingle with the people from the posh neighborhoods, they speak usually in Taglish which is a mixed Tagalog-English.
Bashers are like "stoppers", and they're usually negative people. Majority of the Filipinos are non-toxic, so listen to the majority, not to the minority!....👍🇵🇭
There is a way to teach religion in schools. Like the way, we do in the Philippines. Teach all the things that are common and every religion like good values and respect each other's religion and when it comes to praying, whichever one is leading will lead to pray on how he/she knows, and the other religions will just pray on their own way silently. Which the USA obviously failed every time. Everyone is crying for equality but everyone wants special treatment.
People everywhere please don't do that be a human being stop being toxic.be in positive be friendly as being human...that's it!love and peace we're all happy so easy to do it
At first I was skeptical, but after you explained the whole situation with "Pinoy baiting" and how honest you came forth with your explanation, I finally subscribed to your channel. cheers!
Inverting the Philippine flag fulfills the function of a war flag. Whereas other countries have a dedicated war flag with designs derived from their national flags, the Philippines is one of those that uses a single flag for both purposes.
Ph schools doesn't really teach specific religion. It's just that in our elementary, we have this character education subject that discusses the different religions present to inform us with the varying beliefs and norms that each religion have. We are taught about Islam, Buddhism, etc, its differences just to have awareness. After all, thats where coexistence starts. 😊😊
One info.. Jeepneys are the no. 1 means of transportation in the Phils., We dont have that much christmas movies, Filipinos sing.. Good or bad voice.. Everybody sings, the Filipinos love foreigners. When you are able to come here, start with metro manila for at least a week then go to the provinces to experience our beaches. Also watch videos about Batanes. It is the New Zealand in the Philippines.
Our foods are influenced by Spanish and Chinese cuisine. We love meat and noodles and pasta. And since we are surrounded by islands we have so much fishes and prawns. We were occupied by the Americans and they left us with their taste in everything. In food, music and politis and style.
Texas was like the Philippines... That's why when Texas was still part of the Viceroyalty of New Spain, it was called Nueva Filipinas (New Philippines)... I saw that on a historical map, but the boundaries aren't the same as today...
we are taught about different religions for awareness in school (highschool and university) in an objective way, so that we better understand the belief systems of other people in our community. It's not like the schools are indoctrinating a specific religion at all.
The US Flag Code allows flying the flag upside down to show distress. The Philippine Flag Code specifically orders the flag to be flown with the red side up in wartime because that was the way it was flown during the Philippine War of Independence against Spain (Philippine Flag Day: 28-May-1898, the Battle of Alapan), the Philippine-American War (1898-1981), and World War II (1941-1945).
10:05 Chill about religions. Student can get movie hours or other activities. During mass gathering depending on the occasion or school. Even give additional plus grades for attending gatherings..... But there are mandatory gatherings that are attended for incentives and attendance.
Fun Fact: just like in USA, the Philippine public schools from elementary through university do not teach religion. Not all private schools teach religion. Some do. Pilipinos are sociable people and we are always curious about other Pilipino’s culture, religion and tradition. We are not shy to ask, esp if one has become a classmate or neighbor or co-worker.
It is what it is guys, as it goes, you can't please everyone but for me, am thankful because you are featuring our country, people can see how beautiful our country is❤🇵🇭 Appreciate you both, thank you🙏🙏🙏
Filipino's has different level of speaking English language. Students who went to an English community school or private school speak more fluently that they also use it at home or use to communicate to other people because they use English language in school and use only tagalog when it is Filipino subject or history. But in public school it is so different but they also use English language but not much.
Oh, just ignore those people. Some foreign TH-camrs came up with that whole Pinoy-baiting idea because there’s a huge Pinoy audience on the internet. So some foreign TH-camrs and “woke” Filipinos decided the only way to properly feature the Philippines in your videos is if you’ve been there somehow or have the intention of helping the country for some reason. I personally don’t see anything wrong with sharing your journey into an unfamiliar culture. I hope those comments don’t turn you off. Culture-sharing leads to better understanding. Just do what you do. ✊🏼🇵🇭
Ignore the toxic people, most on filipinos are loving and friendly maybe 10% only are toxic. Thanks for including our country to your reaction. We are gladly that foreigner are getting attention our country. Don't worry if you are visit in the Phil.you are welcome with full of love and hospitality.
Just tell the truth... there are too many toxic especially in social media but in real life nahhh.. most of them are really friendly
@@tinolax7724 yeah i qgree with you ... there toxic on social media but not in personal
Filipinos are not the only Toxic in Social Media.
The toxic ones are just more vocal
@@tinolax7724 they are confident in social media because there faces are not shown but in personal Filipinos are kind.

Fun Fact: Texas was once known as Nueva Filipinas or Nuevo Renio de Filipinas, named after the Filipinas in Asia.

I love your videossss🤗❤
Thank you for watching and trying to learn about the Philippines and I'm so sorry for whoever said that y'all are pinoy baiting.
Filipino here, discovered your channel recently, kept watching on and on..... yeah pinoy-baiting has been a constant topic for YT content creators BUT who cares, you make good video reviews, you guys rock \../,
Thank you! That means a lot!
I'm from Philippines 🇵🇭 and I'll speak 5 dialects which is Tagalog, English, Kapampangan, Bisaya and Maranao
Hi!! Malaysia here..
i remember on my elementary days we will have a mass every week, all the students, teachers and staffs will be called to the school gym for mass, but our muslim classmates will remain in the classrooms
I really loved and appreciate your content especially when you both reacting to the Philippines my home country 🇵🇭
Independence day Philippines 🇵🇭
Im also team #SPURS💚🇵🇭
i actually believe that teaching religion in schools are for education or awareness since the Philippines has Islam, Christianity and Roman Catholic. Yes, I separated it because there's a huge difference between them. We Filipinos or other countries with diverse beliefs really need it in the education system for us to know, respect and understand one another
For me you guys are the best reaction than other ,you guys more explanation on everything you react than other
In High Schools in PH the major religions in Asia are taught in Social Studies like Hinduism, Shintoism, Taoism, etc.
Hope you react to NU Pep Squad 2019 UAAP a cheerdance competition here in the Philippines..
People everywhere please don't do that be a human being stop being toxic.be in positive be friendly as being human...that's it!love and peace we're all happy so easy to do it
Thank you for RV❤️💯
Love it! -phezz
Maybe in general. I studied in a Catholic highschool and university. We have religious education subjects even in college.
But if you attended a private catholic schools like i did, then of course we had catholic/christian living subjects. 😃
If you have plans to visit Philippines visit Palawan, Cebu and Bohol im from mindanao but tourist spots here are too little and redundant.
we are taught about different religions for awareness in school (highschool and university) in an objective way, so that we better understand the belief systems of other people in our community.
FYI, when Texas became a terrotory of the US, it was briefly named New Philippines in the 17th Century.
It is what it is guys, as it goes, you can't please everyone but for me, am thankful because you are featuring our country, people can see how beautiful our country is❤🇵🇭
Appreciate you both, thank you🙏🙏🙏
Filipino's has different level of speaking English language.
Hey! I hope you're not taking those toxic comments to heart. You have great contents. Period. I love the honesty about monetizing. Hahahaha ❤️
