Out of all the times this song has been redone to me this is the best, especially the intro, I cant help imagining the trainer walking up the stairs to the arena hearing that intro it just gives you chills.
I swear, Gamefreak must love this theme the most. This theme gets remixed so much. I also love how the beginning of this theme comes off as Yugioh-esque.
I imagine that he'd be like: "we play on set rules. No items, all level fifty." And then the player would be like: "Yeah ok." only to get completely clapped by spread moves and follow me Pachirisu. And they did that with Ray Rizzo, so that is completely plausible.
This is definitely my favorite rendition of this theme. It's not even close. There are no games the whole way through, the pressure is ON. Fitting for the one and only time it will play in game, in a fight to determine the absolute best of the best

This is Blues theme, its only been remixed, and entitled for the Championship, most of the composition is still there, and you can even here Blues GBA theme slightly at 0:49.
That, and he's also the most suited for competitive fights, character wise. How come nobody sees that? There's no better Champion to pick for that role than Blue. He's extremely skilled, but also obnoxious, very competitive, and hates to lose. Basically every WT participant.

I was doing double battles on battle spot. I saw someone from Korea pop up. When I saw his team preview come up, he had the world champion's team. I thought it was a faker. I initiated the battle. And then this song starts playing. I was swept 4-0.
