I just started learning Kung Lao with Lao kameo, and his combos aren’t that hard but they are at the same time. My thumbs still hurt from playing mk1 too much this weekend😭😭
Yo no cap the first week on launch I said the same thing my thumbs hurt from playing too much 😂😂I felt like I have to press so many buttons all at once but over time you get used to the combos, kameos, and timing for the combos

I got max mastery for havik and he gets really good gear. His best gear definitely comes from his mastery.

If you use cyrax it’s such a cake walk. You can get like a 25% just by comboing a forward 4 3 into cyrax’s helicopter and jumping into it to kick them. It never fails but just spend a couple hours in the lab and you’ll do good broh!

Question for the comments: I think Havik is pretty dope as a character but I’ve always been kinda confused about his gimmick. Like dude literally dismembers himself on a regular but replaces whole body parts on a whim. How is that any different than him getting hit with a fatality or brutality? Also, unrelated question but are certain character/kameo combinations just taboo/looked down upon? I do play MK but I don’t understand why that’s a thing
I definitely look down upon Reiko Darius combo just because the people who use it are ass and use it with is unblockable grab combo and reiko does a absurd amount of damage with it and if you try to play range he has shurikens that do way to much chip damage and are hard to jump over so there is no escape. Edit: I didn’t realize somebody used that combo in this video, this reiko wasn’t abusing it but the ones who do are just miserable to play against and I guess you could say I only dislike this combo when you play like bitch.
most top tiers (baraka, smoke, raiden to name a few) are usually frowned upon when paired with cyrax/sareena. raiden/jax is also quite hated
@liluminati9791 yeah I usually hear Sareena as a no no. One of the reasons why I don’t play using her is for that same reason. At the same time, it kinda sucks because I wanna see how all the kameos play, including her. But I also don’t wanna be labeled as a scrub for using her, ya know?
Lore-wise I don’t think any characters aside from top tiers (in story) like Liu Kang, Geras, Titan Shang Tsung can kill him. And his whole gimmick of blowing himself up and dismembering his body is just a straight up taunt or a way to use his immortality offensively like how he just swing his other arm with his arm and use his own head as a bomb. I like it though, really fitting of his character.

I was the same way the first week too lol use practice and invasions with your favorite character for a day or so and it'll get easier imo
@@chillwill7 Eh im using my main but it’s still real hard to jot down their Kombos in my head I was using SubZero for quite bit and later returned to Raiden to later finding out I kinda forgot his Kombos😂
