Almost ambient like, atmospheric, chilling, beautiful. I could sleep at this song. It sounds cold and really fits to the map vibe. Snowy, gloomy. Rainy.
Probably the only track I never heard completely in boost mode as was hard to chain on this level, cars were scattered everywhere and you had to drift curves, left and right in a row
Not to mention Peak was so frustratingly short. You had next to no time to make up mistakes. Lake was more forgiving purely because it was longer, but the Japanese Muscle face-off nearly drove me to tears because nothing you had already unlocked came close to it.
@markisaki979 I will be honest, the Japanese Muscle was one of the easiest races to beat for me, but to this day I haven't beat the last grand prix in the normal championship to get the supercar. As I always end up in 2nd place when playing on the longer version of this track during it.
@@unjustifiedcorruption748 as a kid it took me quite a while to beat that car (using the custom roadster) now, 20 years in advance it only took me the standard roadster to get the win... it's not that fast, you just have to never crash (or slow down in any way)
I remember I always grabbed myself a grey "Roadster" with manual transmission, went to Crystal Summit Park in snow and raced without ever using the boost or crashed once.
The only course in Burnout 2 I didn't really like. Too tight and difficult to drive around, especially the areas around the short course (Crystal Summit Peak).
But the fact that it is actually snowing (burnout 2 had dynamic weather system which is cool!), makes it all worth it. Just boosting through the snow, when the music gets just so exciting and impactful... one of my favorite game moments ever.
... I really hate when my friend Adrian sends me stuff about games I don't care about... ... Sounds a bit nice. ... a bit. *Is a little bit ticked off how I said I don't care a million times to him and he STILL sent it to me*
I always thought that the Crystal Summit tracks were the hardest in the game.

Used to do 50x burnout chains on Crystal summit with the "Supercar". The good ole middle school days.
Ktrain0218 dude I remember that. That was some good times.
Crystal Summit is one of the easier tracks in the game
@@trashbintf2 Yes i mean Crystal Summit Peak
WHOAH 50X CHAINS OF BURNOUT?? I ONLY MANAGED TO DO HARDLY 3!

@@markisaki979 just use the Oval Racer. The shown stats for both the JM and OR are the same.

*VS Japanese Muscle*
best track of the game. Mythical.
i love this song.
BurnOut is so freaking better than NFS
Masterpiece while riding my motorbike
Strange, I always thought this song was a good match with custom pickup
USPM Disc Issue 64, and I still get goosebumps from Snow Mountain.
Am I the only one who gets Half-Life 1 vibes from this?
There's just something about these songs that seem to fit in with a lot of games...
The snyth bass is giving me Spider-Man 2000 vibes
That's just classic Adrian
Sounds alot like one of Midnight Club 2's soundtrack

Then why the hell would you listen to him? And this music is good. (Yes, I know I replied to a 4 year old comment.)
