The hands can be used,just add some ice cubes inside the bowl where the milk will be poured into so as to reduce the fermentation process,hence, it won't get spoilt quickly.

Soak it for maximum of 8 hrs not more than that because if it ferments, it will spoil

The problem is not exactly the tigernut but heat.
Before you go to grind, ensure you have iced blocks. Immediately u grind, drop the blocks in to keep it from fermenting. She said cold water, but I advice iced blocks and drop them in the freezer directly after sieving

I will advice you used ice blocks like pure water ice immediately after grinding drop one in the grind paste and one in the other container you are sieving inside. Immediately after sieving put in the fridge. Enjoy your drink ❤
