@Ger Dik They can and do but today’s architecture often defeats the best organ builders.
Dissily Mordentroge I was told a new organ would cost £1,000,000. Not as gorgeous as this one, of course.

Great Baroque organ work! For the time, this was vast in scope.......Each chorale is wonderfully treated. This also features some of Buxtehude's most complex counterpoint. Notice the presence of leftovers from pre functional harmony!

Superbe architetture, che fungeranno da sostruzioni per il sommo Bach.
Ho ascoltato per caso il te deum laudamus di buxtehude, sebbene sia piuttosto critico per la musica organistica, in poche parole spesso sento temi inascoltabili anche da compositori dell'epoca. Il tedeum composto da questo straordinario compositore e' un tema ricco, sembrano quasi tante variazioni insieme piuttosto che un tema solo per fare un esempio il preludio che inizia da preludio e finisce tale. Veramente bello questo pezzo.

Vorrei aggiungere che tra buxtehude e Bach vi erano diversi anni di differenza ci fosse una certa affinità compositiva, non uguali, visto che Bach era anche più giovane e moderno, ovvio che la differenza si nota, si paragoni per esempio le cantate tra i due, una notevole differenza di gusti e stili.
