I reviewed the policies on EasyJet but I will leave a link here. The policies I've read and should have been properly looked into (under Delays and cancellations) were Diverted Flights, Claiming Back Expenses, and Claiming Your Compensation: www.easyjet.com/en/help/boarding-and-flying/delays-and-cancellations
Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience Sez. I used to think Ryanair were the worst, but after an experience like that, I definitely think easyJet should cough up with the refund. It’s things like that why I don’t like flying. Which is why when I went to Amsterdam in 2017, I insisted on going by train via Paris. Good thing for the XR Big One demonstration on flying less.
It definitely was and I never had a problem like that one before. I don't think I'll get any money back absolutely but I'm glad I got my voice out there.
I haven't been on a airplane in over 25 years. The last time was a flight from Tokyo to San Francisco. Air travel was terrible then, and everything I hear, it has gotten much worse since then. I decided a long time ago that I will never again get on another airplane if I can possibly help it. If I had been in your situation making that trip, honestly I would have avoided the airline, and taken a train from London to Glasgow, and a bus and ferry from Glasgow to Belfast. Yeah it would have taken an entire day, but at least it would have been a nice trip and you could have seen a lot of things. The good thing about the UK is that you have such nice trains there. Airplanes are bad, airports are bad, airline workers are bad. Air travel is just terrible, especially if you are autistic.

It's okay, Mark; I thought the Eurostar was more reliable when I went to Paris years ago

That is awful and big hugs
Thanks Paul
@@SezFrancis1 you are welcome
That's about as jive as the days are long. It's incidents like this one that make me glad I travel by train nowadays.
