At 24 years of age I never truly appreciated this song when it came out with the movie in 1976. Here we are in 2023 and I'm lovin' it!
That's why music disco back in the 70's was outstanding to dance and listen.

Hi Con I am a Producer/Engineer/Musician from Canada 4 decades in the business now. Yesterday I had a talented young kid in the studio struggling to find the pocket. I pulled up this video of your performance. It was like watching a light bulb turn on. He really understood proper feel. How body movement and rhythm create proper timing, wish you could have seen the grin on his face. Guaranteed the lad will never forget that moment! Just thought I'd send you some good news when the world seems to be upside down .. Cheer's Mate and Thank's!

I played Car Wash over and over and over in the cassette player of my beaten up old Ford Escort back in the day. I know the sound well and this band has captured it brilliantly.

Ms. Leslie and Ms. Annie, your vocal and instrumental leads were were so 70’s funky. Mr. Con you were killing on that bass and your short vocal lead in the bridge section was great. Ms. Piña and the fellas brought in the funk and as usual HSCC was just hittin’ on all cylinders. Thank You 🙏🏾 for bringing back another great memory to a great soundtrack of the oldies updated with such great taste and a true homage to the great musicians, vocalists, and song writers who came before. Lesley Williams was such a great addition to HSCC. Love the high energy performance she always brings to these upbeat numbers. You can see that she feels the music and lets it flow with a natural ease. And of course her voice is just incredible. Here's to more of her and this amazing band.

Its rare for one band to cover so many old classics and pull them all off but hats off to you all, 10 out of 10. Finding the right words to describe Lesley has proven impossible, a very rare example of perfection both in looks and voice, not just a little special, but very special so she gets 11 out of 10
