- In this video, i upgrade my polo gt with and air filter and a dew bits and pieces here and there to free up the air restrictions and let the car breathe a lot better

I had a question, see when we've made the car breathe better by the aforementioned upgrades (enhanced air filter etc), how important is it to upgrade certain parts of the exhaust system as well? Since the car can let out easier as well then....
Just now replaced euro spec air intake, BMC airfilter and XP95 fuel
results are very much evident

Hey, great mod. Definitely ordering the EU spec channel, one question, since the air IS pulled from the front now, do you experience any solid particles ending up in the air box? Like stone chips etc

Does rain affect the direct flow from the euro spec?
Hi brthr I am planning to do this mod for my 1.6tdi but I want to keep stock air filter itself if I clean it regularly like at every 2.5k kms no issues right I will replace the air filter at every 8k kms? And der is no need of ecu tuning right?

Boodmo gets stock off and on, keep at it, only boodmo can source it i assume, or If you wish to import, eBay should be a good option, but the duty will be hefty 😬

What are your thoughts/suggestions comparing the K&N filter to BMC filter or the foam ones like ITG/R Line?
Foams ones are superior to these for sure

Hey, thank you so much, recently there has been alot of demand so maybe they've gone out of stock and only importing, this is why there is a price hike, either wait for the price to go down or try sourcing it from tuning shops, they often have them

Hi Prerak, I just ordered the parts but What should I do to maintain air-fuel ratio in a 1.5TDI, is a ECU remap required or just find power diesel. ?
With all of these upgrades, a stage 1 tune will be very fruitful for your 1.5 tdi
can these be done on a 1.2 TDI?

I have a fabia 2 year 2012 ,1.2 tsi.Can i upgrade with this parts?the deflector is the same as the stock one from fabia ?

The price of the euro spec air channel has gone up drastically,any idea if we can get it from some other shop for 1500rs or should we just wait for the price to come down on the boodmo app.Also i want to know if it will fit a 1.2l tsi engine because my car is a vento 1.2l tsi. Thanks
Recently I noticed, (@vagmaster_india) had it up for sale, maybe they can help source it, or if some tuning shops had it in stock they can source it as well.

It shows correct part when I click the link, use the part number to search for the product instead if it showing incorrectly through the link.
I feel polo's stock headlights and foglight are very weak. Any suggestions for upgradation.
The double -U headlights with a decent HID Kit is everyone's favourite when under a budget, otherwise many people include myself consider OEM Bi-xenons

Euro duct is same for 1.0 and 1.2 , try getting the euro duct on boodmo

What about car run in rain..? why because now water directly goes into airintake and filter and after that goes to combustion chamber, then that may lead to hydroclog na. Haven't you faced any this kind of hydroclog problems by this airintake modification?
It isn’t directly fed into it, the euro duct doesn’t face straight into the air intake
It is less resistant than stock setup but not straight into the filter either
Can we use this intake pipe for 1.2 TDi..? would there be enough space to squeeze this in..?
Euro duct and filter upgrade should be good enough for that, not sure if it'll clear the Pipe

But, I do change the filters every 6months as it gets clogged much faster after I have installed the euro spec..

No, but still refer to your SA if warranty is a concern
I think this Fabia VRS intake pipe is gonna interfere in Diesel engines. My engine bay is really very hard to work upon!

What if i cut down the stock change and make holes in it?
Cut the stock channel and cover it from the side, leave enough space for water to drain out

You could also cut the square and rectangular holes in the air inlet channel if you have the tools and save yourself 1.5k.
Also, doesn't VW recommend 95 octane in order to make the claimed 105bhp?
Euro spec air channel is covered from the side as well, if you cut the square and rectangle pieces off, Make sure to cover the side inlet as well, leaving small area for water to drain out of.

Stock replacement air filters are better then cold air intakes

It is a possible retrofit mod, but costs alot, so maybe in the near future I do it

Aur box is similar but not the same, the first bit that I showed which is the euro duct can be installed though

Try to source it from a local dealership they still have it or they can order it for you for 1124₹

You should have had upgraded the intercooler instead, cold air intake doesn't help much in improving the performance of a car with forced induction!
