So, I have been watching you for over a year on my big TV screen. I have not had any idea how to subscribe or comment on there. Finally today I have purchased my own tablet and had my son help me figure out how to do all that I wanted. There aren't enough words in my vocabulary to say how much I have enjoyed this vlog. I don't watch regular TV shows, but only watch Netflix, Disney, Prime and TH-cam. I usually make a cup of tea, find something sweet to eat with it and sit in my comfy chair to watch you and the La Lande gang. I think I LOVE YA'LL!!!

Stephanie has completely upped my game. I have two wishes fir northern Michigan, that my gardens survive the snow at night, yes snow. And the day it gets warm enough to wear my Stephanie dresses. So much better than LY tees and boxers.
She is always so excitable and upbeat and a smile may pop at any time at all! It is how she is all of the time. Of course, as being human there must be days when it changes same, but overall 'what we see is what we get, ' with Stephanie!! Like seeing the sun shine. She loves the color Yellow and it looks great on her * yet not on everyone* and maybe because she is like the sunshine? She makes one feel so much better even if we are down because of health issues or family situations or whatever may be going on we cannot help but change our mood when we come to La Lande for our visit.

Unless I win a lottery I will never be able to visit la lands, or restore a chateaux of my own. But I did come up with an idea. I am going to transform my bedroom to look like chambre De Roger. I am disabled and now age 52. But if I save up and find the fabric I could recreate the look around my hospital bed.

I do see LaLande growing so much before the Summer is over and many people coming as word gets out and Lalande becomes ''even more known'', It is because Stephanie you keep it all upbeat and you have smiles for everyone and are kind to all you meet. All those working and living at Lalande are exactly the same. It brings happiness to all of us no matter what e are going through in our own lives we feel so much better seeing all of you seem very happy and excited about life and love seeing Lalande grow as it is and feel part of it in some way, however, we can. Now we know Stephanie you and everyone at the Chateau have days when they hurt, in some ways but all of you show us this upbeat happy side and we love it very much. 'Thank you for being you! ' * I think Philip maybe is like an ''assistant'' to you, actually? Many do not know the 'exact title' so it seems and I think maybe he does sort of jump in with all the 'different things you are doing, and helping in various ways,' so that may be it?? It seems that the gentleman restores as an artist, taking on a restoration as almost a spiritual thing. Although I don’t know much about him other than what Stephanie has said, he will make that chapel a truly amazing place to behold, giving it time and expertise.

Please will you consider holding artists residencies at Lalande? It might be a good way to have some site-specific sculptures installed which would be great for posterity. Even now tracking the renovations by contemporary writers, composers, sound-artists etc would really add to the chateau’s onward story

First -- it's not only that you have brought joy beauty to so many people (which you HAVE, of course) during this hardest year. All of us have had things stripped away from us this year, most notably the opportunity to discover and explore new places, new things. And Lalande has been a massive exception to this loss! Instead, you and your friends have expanded everyone's lives, everyone's horizons, and brought us into a very personal space, a household in another land. It's a stunning bright spot in a dark year. Also -- I thought you would want to tear down that wall that separates the dressing room now!!! Hooray! That room is such an asset, and it's uses will only be magnified when it's back to its full size! Is it the same footprint of the room below ... is that they opening hallway (I forget what you call it), the room where you have large dinner parties? Anyway, so happy you'll be doing that too!

you have been a true mindsaver..when covid restrictions came in march 2020 here in melbourne australia..i had just moved into a rental townhouse..after my husband had died in 2018 suddenly in awful circumstances..i was left to sell two properties..piles and piles of debts..and tons of paperwork..then my beloved mother in law died not long after my husband..i had to go interstate to deal with all this..and when i got back i was so ill..i just made i t back to end up in hospital where i nearly died...i live with my two grown up kids..who also suffered greatly..so when the restrictions hit..here in the rental i found Lalande on my laptop by chance..i love everything antiques, art , architecture..beautiful clothes and design..music too is a great soother..lalande and you Stephanie gave me a break from my thoughts, while i got stuck into cross stitching again..our restrictions here latest nearly nine months and things are almost back to normal..i still watch you everytime you are on and Lalande is on my bucketlist..i doubt i will get to meet you but you made my life so much more pleasant with all your team there , as well as Gerry and Percy and Isabelle..hugggsssxxx

As I have mentioned in previous blogs, I suggested a Christmas Album for next year, sung by you & Phillip and other ms at LaLande. Now, hearing you and Phillip sing, the words to the song were beautiful, a Christmas Album, for 2022, could perhaps be another source of Revenue? Well, moving on to the next vlog!!!
Have you visited the rural region in France where many residents left to emigrate to New France (Canada-Quebec, Montreal) in the Percheron Emigration, about 100 miles west of Paris? It's not a ghost... As that feels like the darkside. It's the people who love, pray for, support you in love.
We have a lake which dates back to the 16th century as clay pits the pottery is found in some of the museums around Normandy, it was later dug into one lake, which is filled with carp and other fish, we also have 5 small islands which make the lake look so much more interesting.

I know I am commenting on this late, but that is because I just came across it. I really love Chateau Diaries and have caught up to the current one and have throughly enjoyed every one of them. As I have mentioned in previous blogs, I suggested a Christmas Album for next year, sung by you & Phillip and other ms at LaLande. Now, hearing you and Phillip sing, the words to the song were beautiful, a Christmas Album, for 2022, could perhaps be another source of Revenue? Well, moving on to the next vlog!!!
Have you visited the rural region in France where many residents left to emigrate to New France (Canada-Quebec, Montreal) in the Percheron Emigration, about 100 miles west of Paris? Some lovely manor houses, restaurants, parks, churches, and a French & Canadian Museum in Tourourve about the families that went to New France in the early 1640’s.
This west side of paris seems to be where they came from.

It would be wonderful to have one of the outbuildings as a standing art gallery given all the artwork the chateau has inspired. Not sure I would take the wall down between new office and closet area- would think it would end up very cluttered looking. Love the backdrop of architectural pictures

We have a lake which dates back to the 16th century as clay pits the pottery is found in some of the museums around Normandy, it was later dug into one lake, which is filled with carp and other fish, we also have 5 small islands which make the lake look so much more interesting.

Sorry that I missed this live vlog...I seem to miss them all. I'd love to add some questions, etc. I have to give Stephanie so much credit for being to do these live segments and make it all seem so natural. There are people who have studied broadcasting and still couldn't do what Stephanie does. If youtube were to ever create an award show, Chateau Diaries, etc., will definitely win them all.
