Loma is such a beast. He hasn't legitimately lost a fight yet. Every single one of his losses are all highly controversial, none more than that travesty of judging and reffing being the Salido fight. Lopez didn't do enough to actually win a decision. Same with Haney. The guy who actually did the best against him was Gamboa, but he got knocked out. Just like everyone else Gamboa got put into the blender. My real dream fight of current fighters is prime Crawford vs a prime Loma. Loma isn't in his prime any longer but goddamn it'd have been a true situation of two masters going at it. I don't think there's a fighter within a class up or down that can legitimately beat Crawford outside of Loma and even then it's a MASSIVE task because he's not in his prime anymore.

"Technicians" is a kind way of describing a boring, safety-first fighter.
The literal objective of boxing is to hit your opponent without getting hit. It's only boring to casuals that only wanna see brawls and knockouts. Don't get me wrong those type fights are always more entertaining but to the boxing purists and real fans of this sport, the technicality and precision of a fighters punches is everything. Brawls and knockouts are just an added bonus..🥊
@@CashRules660 I disagree. It is ALWAYS in the fighter's best interests to be aggressive and go for the early stoppage win. It makes the fighter more fan pleasing and results in more ticket sales and more lucrative paydays; and it limits or minimizes the possibility of an injury. Fighters don't get paid overtime. And I could easily say it requires the same, if not more, talent and skill to fight off the front foot, while going to the body and head and avoiding damage at the same time. Go ahead and tell me someone like Pernell Whitaker had more skill than Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson, or Evander Holyfield. Devin Haney is washed because of all the grueling fights he's had already at 25-26. Shakur Stevenson will be the same, except he hasn't made the kind of money Devin has. Nobody, and I mean nobody, will pay serious PPV $ to see Shakur dance for 12 rounds like some sort of coward. It's unbearable to watch and insulting to the fans. I think he's a good kid, but no thanks.
