Structural crack in pebblecrete pool identified and repaired in Morningside

We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Morningside. We checked the multi port valve before inspecting and dye testing a hairline crack in the wall and step of the pebblecrete. Several areas were drawing dye. In the interim of a permanent repair we applied an epoxy putty bead along the crack before re dye testing the leak site. We then inspected the main drain and noted an expandable plug was installed where the hydrostatic valve ought to be. We removed the plug and installed a 50mm hydrostatic valve. We then removed the light fittings and puttied over where the cable penetrates the shell, another common leak site.
