Les Heath Jr Thanks for the support! I guarantee if i had a pipe bender i would’ve gone at this completely different route. Building a frame from scratch would definitely be something im interested in.
I'm looking for someone here in Atlanta with a CNC bender so I can hopefully get perfectly symmetrical parts. Free handing is pretty much guaranteed not to be even. Ill probably just end up doing what you did though. Great thinking with the gussets!
I wasn't aware that they sold a mount for it. Honestly it could be easier assuming that the mount you buy is a weldable material. It would take the headache out of lining up the mounting points so you'd just have to make sure the motor is straight with the scooter.
They sell amount but it does not come with two brackets from the frame you would have to make them but the way it looks they would have Nuts and Bolts in the end of the mounts the problem you was having with the carburetor it has like a horseshoe the carburetor goes in the middle but I will see how your Mount works out. Because it will be summertime before I decide if I'm going to do mine or not because I done the upgrade on mine and I'm getting on average 55 so if it keeps up imma leave mine the way it is but if not imma do the 150.
My only problem now is that i have to drop the shock in order to get the carburetor out. Let me know if you go that route. It'd be cool to see it mount up with a stock mount!
i probably did at one point but i tore a bunch of electrical out like a year ago on it. I pretty much removed all the unused plugs and wires off of the harness in this video. This moped is not street legal whatsoever lol.
I have a 150cc wildfire moped and there is a few things that I need and I can't hardly find them where I'm located I was hoping that you might have a few things that your not using
I will if what I'm doing now don't work imma do the 150 trying to get Joe to send me pictures of the two mounts on the frame that way I can use the stock engine mount
WHY would you 1) refer a Scooter as a Moped when legally it is NOT ( it goes faster than 30 mph and does not have pedals) and 2) why would you Jump a scooter when it is Not designed for that? You California Kids think you know stuff but you show you know Nothing.
