phillip carl Roberts alright, 1 you don't get money if someone subscribes, and 2 you have no idea how copyright law works, do you? Also, Jules doesn't have a band, it's just him and whoever he occasionally invites to do vocals or something (hence the clips of him playing all of the instruments)
phillip carl Roberts he's not gonna get sued, at most he will get a copy right strike on TH-cam and have to either share revenue, just forfeit it entirely or if worse comes to worse have videos pulled. In any case why do you care? Are you the son of a Nintendo lawyer or something lol? Just let Nintendo and Google worry about it.
phillip carl Roberts I still don't understand your argument here. Why can't you wrap your head around the fact that cover artists, albums, and bands exist? Making a cover of a song (or a medley of a bunch of old songs) is not illegal! Your shithead "friends" weren't doing the same thing that cover artists do, they were attempting to take something you made and claim that they created it outright. The whole point of a cover or medley is to take something you acknowledge someone else created and put an original spin on it (while still not saying you made it first). Just look at 2 recent NSP albums, Under the Covers and Under the Covers 2, why isn't that illegal? Because (say it with me) COVERS AREN'T ILLEGAL
5 years later, and this is still the best Zelda Link to the Past cover on TH-cam, if not ever, it's just that good, one of my personal favorites from his playlist.
A Link to the Past had some of the best video game music of all time, and this was by far the best cover of them I've ever heard. I got tingles more than once
I've been playing a lot of ALTTP Randomizers and I finally got MSU-1 Music Pack Working and went straight for ALTTP Metal pack. I could tell even before checking the songs list that Jules' music was used just because his style is so recognizable. This definitely kicks ass when playing ALTTP now, I dig it.
I utilize the three different forms of vibrato. I know it's far from perfect, but the goal of a vibrato should never be to blast it or anything. It should be to use a wide or narrow vibrato in the context of the phrase and to vibrato in rhythm with the song. You'll notice that in the first song I did a lot of horizontal vibratos but did many vertical ones for the rest. People just assume that if you do horizontal vibratos ever, that you can't at all. I get a lot of shit for this for some reason.
I am actually doing very wonderful now, thank you for asking :D Currently wiping tears from my eyes going through these old vids, realizing the influence he's had on my own writings and arrangements :3
original composer for this game was an absolute genius with most righteous note choice. Just disgustingly tasty riffs in a classic way using MIDI. its so amazing.
I absolutely love the way Death Mountain sounds in this. It seems like I'm drowning in the bass and rhythm guitars, yet there is a strong lead that doesn't pierce your ears. Beautiful, FamilyJules7x, keep playing like this.
This is one of your best ones yet by far!! I can't tell you how many hours not only I, but my entire family put into this game. I still play it now over a decade later.
One of his best medleys. The transitions are awesome and I like the "Sanctuary" before the finish. Great work. I think only his "Binding of Isaac Medley" tops this one.
One of my favourite LoZ games - one closest to my heart. This is incredibleeeeeeeee and amazing and fantastic and all the good adjectives ahaha. Brilliant!!!!! Especially the Lost Woods!!! When I was a kid I'd sit by the tv and just leave the game running in the Lost Woods (and while Flute Boy was playing!) and record it on my Talk Girl recorder and listen to it for houuuursssss!
dude, you keep making me get all nostalgic all the time and i have to go dig for these damn games so i can beat them all over again. you're awesome man, keep it up.
Dude, you're one of my favorite musicians. My brothers and I always listen to your stuff. You need to be on the radio. Half the shit that comes on the radio isn't as good as what you've done with just guitars. Please keep doing what you do, because I love it.
You hit my childhood right in the heart, I've never been so moved by listening to a medley of someone. Thank you for these several minutes of emotion, one more subscriber.
Never subscribed to anyone on TH-cam, till now. Not sure why it took me this long though. I've been listening to you for years and constantly picking my jaw off the floor.
Brings back awesome memories of my late childhood :D I liked a lot that you included Sanctuary, it's one of my favourites, not that much people perform it. It's indeed a great game and your work if flawless!!
The fact I am currently Playing LoZ: A Link to the Past for the first time gives me the chills listening to this recognizing the soundtracks not from the OST title, but from moments in the game I'm hearing these :P :>
death mtn has always been one of my favorite tracks from any zelda in the series and your rendition is amazing and top quality! gave me goosebumps and all!
Wow. I'm amazed. You turned my favorite 2D Zelda title music into the most badass medley I've ever heard. I wish there could be a part 2 of these since their is a lot of tracks that could be played into a medley (Ex: The Dungeon Themes Light and Dark, the Boss Battle Music, the FINAL Boss Battle music, and Kakariko Village)
Headbanging at 4:40. This is the best. Very powerfull. Remind me of Boss appearance in Sonic the hedgehog. There is a video on the net that regroup them all. Very nice boss sound.
***** if you're defining "wet" that way, you can not use the term "dry" in it's common sense neither. then what are your shirts like after taking them off the clothesline? :P
This is beautiful. They say that the time to teach foreign languages to people is when they are young. It’s true. But instead of learning foreign languages in my youth, I was inadvertently burning NES and SNES game music into my brain. These modern renditions call up the memories by default immediately. I regret nothing.
I think they should give you the tri force of Power! That was some powerful stuff man! You played well! I love ALTTP so so much and this is awesome! Went through several vids before discovering this. You should totally do a cover of the Desert Palace theme. I think it's used in other places too. But that's where I am at now in the game as I am replaying it for GBA on my DS.
Really late, but I say the whole thing! He definitely displayed his Power, but he had the Courage to attempt such an amazing piece of art as well as the Wisdom to make it all come together.. this man used the Triforce to become a guitar god!
This sanctuary cover blows me away every time. Such a random ass song made amazing. Breaks my heart you havent really done any covers lately. You make Necrodancer a millions times better to play though.
Hell, even as an SNES game, I hold it in higher regard than most games out on any current gen system. In my personal opinion, it came out at just the right time, and pushed the imaginations of the designers to the edge to create such a masterpiece. Like you said: the plot, the music, everything was great about this game. It's still the best in the series (in my eyes) and undoubtedly one of my favorite games of all time.
Just read the description. Don't be so hard on yourself man. Not surprised you would be tired of Tetris after the thunderday tutorials but it rocked and so has the rest of your stuff since you came back from your break. I always go back and listen to the ost for the songs you play and you're always spot on. Keep up the good work man!
One of the best games ever, and an exquisit cover for those who love metal, perfect mix great job, you should consider making street of rage covers as well
@TheOrangeDart A Link to the Past is confusing because it's one of my favorite soundtracks and the songs are my favorites for different reasons. So in this case, I just went with how I felt they'd work together.
I came here after playing Cadence of Hyrule, and hearing you just shred on Death Mountain in the game, and then hearing it in this vid from 7 years ago warmed my heart. Like...holy shit, what a dream come true that must've been. Congrats!
this is the metal that forged the Master Sword. Dude, you won my subscription and my respect.
You won my thumb up and my respect
Nice.

Hello from the future.
@@cooingwolf6775hello from the future
this is the first video i watched from you back in 2013, and what got me into vgm. time flies
Happy 10 year anniversary!!!!! This is one of my favourites remix ever!
A Link to the Past had some of the best video game music of all time, and this was by far the best cover of them I've ever heard. I got tingles more than once
Way late, but - Kooloo Limpah, indeed ..cause Tingle and stuff.. >.>
Be sure to really press down and dig into the string. Keep the pick perpendicular to the strings. :)
I've been playing a lot of ALTTP Randomizers and I finally got MSU-1 Music Pack Working and went straight for ALTTP Metal pack. Can I just die now? Jesus fucking Christ. What am I doing with my life? Why am I not playing a Link to the Past right now?
Lol I guess so, mate
Are you dead yet? It's been 5 months.
Nuh uhh. I found my Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Thank you for the concern though
Maurice Walker It's been 2 years. How are you doing now?
I am actually doing very wonderful now, thank you for asking :D
Currently wiping tears from my eyes going through these old vids, realizing the influence he's had on my own writings and arrangements :3
original composer for this game was an absolute genius with most righteous note choice. Just disgustingly tasty riffs in a classic way using MIDI. its so amazing.
This is the best guitar medley for Zelda Link to the past I've heard. Beyond epic!
I absolutely love the way Death Mountain sounds in this. It seems like I'm drowning in the bass and rhythm guitars, yet there is a strong lead that doesn't pierce your ears. Beautiful, FamilyJules7x, keep playing like this.
I use these covers for my Zelda Randomizer runs. The best replacement soundtracks. Had no idea you did them either. amazing bro
omgosh so much nostalgia... sure brings back memories of running around Hyrule looking for all the things
Man, I miss the days of having my bedroom completely adorned with posters
Dark World is one of my favorites themes of Zelda ever, and you made one of the most epics I've heard
Best Zelda: A link To The Past cover ever made, period...
Whew! Thought it was just me
...
This is one of your best ones yet by far!! I can't tell you how many hours not only I, but my entire family put into this game. I still play it now over a decade later.
Dark World theme is GREAT! This arrangement made a good track awesome!
Rodrigo Rossi o`:
The fact that you inlcluded Legends (story music theme) alone makes this epic, nevermind you're a freaking amazing guitar player! Awesome dude!
This is incredible.
One of his best medleys. The transitions are awesome and I like the "Sanctuary" before the finish. Great work. I think only his "Binding of Isaac Medley" tops this one.
While working late, I fell asleep with this playing in my earbuds and had the wickedest link-based dream.
Also I happened to have passed out while in an archeology lab filled with artifacts (smashed pots of all things). So yeah, very psychedelic dream.
Lmao I fell asleep to this too. The dream was so bad-ass.
CobaltWarriors I had a wet dream listening to this.
Foxy :|
I'm Sorry. But goddamn it this mans music is fucking sexy!
Recuerdo escuchar todos estos covers de Zelda
Que hermoso volver aqui :')

I did that with this one, and for some reason King Dedede's castle from Kirby's Dreamland for the original Game Boy haha
Not recording it, but I fell asleep to them!
More like this games is my heart of hearts and my rupee of rupees.🥰🤑♦️

2019 here, still one of the best covers you've made to date.
I still listen to this medley all the time! Its actully timeless
That sanctuary part!
I know. It feels like old school sabbath.
Brings back awesome memories of my late childhood :D
I liked a lot that you included Sanctuary, it's one of my favourites, not that much people perform it. It's indeed a great game and your work if flawless!!
.. this video is about to be 10 years old.
I love Zelda ALTTP soundtrack, awesome medley =3
8 years has passed and this is still amazing!
My drive to work is an hour. This will now be something that I listen to on my way there 😎
The fact I am currently Playing LoZ: A Link to the Past for the first time gives me the chills listening to this recognizing the soundtracks not from the OST title, but from moments in the game I'm hearing these :P :>
Same but replace a link to the past with a link between worlds
10 years and I am still relentlessly listening to this
why does zeldamusic always bring me to tears?
a medley so good it is legendary!
Died when Hyrule Castle theme started playing.
u sir are a bundle of sticks
Jack Castillo Dude, I didn't mean that in a bad way. I meant I died of happiness.
+Quick Man I just to say Shadow Man kicks Quick Man's ass, go ninja star!
+Jack Castillo That is probably the nicest way I've seen someone call someone a faggot.
+Ryan Kinney Lol, I caught that, haha.

He did Kakariko Village on his Ocarina of Time Medley
I was naming music tracks from A Link to the Past. I saw that btw. Yeah nvm on Kakariko Village. owo
ive been following family jules since he started and how the hell did I never see this until now?
i really enjoyed this. this game was my introduction to the legend of zelda franchise, keep up the good work.
Your version of the sanctuary theme is downright amazing, I literally get pretty close to tearing up every time I hear it.
This is like... one of the coolest things I've ever seen. God bless you, sir! I'm going to go play some Zelda now!
@Wuz15name Rhythm guitar and bass are straight through. Leads are by section.
Death Mountain as a breakdown. DAMN!
Best medley ever 10/10
This is, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!1!
Headbanging at 4:40. This is the best. Very powerfull. Remind me of Boss appearance in Sonic the hedgehog. There is a video on the net that regroup them all. Very nice boss sound.
hyrule castle sounds so epic like this!
I listen to this literally all the time !!!! You seriously are amazing my friend 🙌🏼
*it's dangerous to go alone take this*
Another brilliant performance! It's a metal symphony!
damn my friend, this is some good music. you keep doing your best on making this stuff!
@nos0323 Rhythm Guitars are 12 - 56 and Lead is 11 - 54
Nintendo should take his Covers and put it into the WiiU Zelda Game *.*
Or smash bros ultimate
Love the way you laid this out. Added some originality without ruining the original feel or sound. You have some serious skills. Nicely done
I can't stop hearing the Hyrule Castle and Dark World themes! Somebody help me!
I swear, this is the greatest remix of any Zelda song I have ever heard...!!!!
This is Epic.
Não canso de dizer, ficou perfeito! Obrigada pelo som super 10! =D
The Sanctuary part hits right in the feels
This song is not on Spotify :c
@iTziiFox I try when I can. I do love me some Animals as Leaders and the such.
omg omg omg omg aaaaaaaweeeeeeeeesoome!!! *.* Thank you for creating this!
The sanctuary theme made me cry. So beautifully done.
Reminds me of the exact arrangement I heard someone play on OCRemix many years ago.
+Plikky Dee Hello. Do you mean Unsealed by CarboHydroMusic? His channel's on TH-cam if your interested. He remade it, so now there are two versions.
mericalgirl1234
I did. Huzzah! Now I can seek it out!
You're welcome.
What you did with the Intro song just amazes me every time - Its beautiful
Man this arrangement... still getting wet pants, after 1000th time of hearing it...
***** if you're defining "wet" that way, you can not use the term "dry" in it's common sense neither. then what are your shirts like after taking them off the clothesline? :P

My jaw hit the dirt
Or the floor. Perhaps I was listening to it on my ipod on the way to the bus stop or something! (My internet range is quite long)
Daniel Hunter LOL!!
@J1my0987 Been playing about 6 years and thanks. :)
SO FUCKING SICKKKK ;__;
Dark world.
The best track in all zelda game in term of epicness.
Just thank you for that
Sublime

You need to do the soundtrack for Hyrule Warriors.
Tecmo Koei/Nintendo, look no further.
I love the transition from death mountain into sanctuary! Awesome job
Video game companies need to re release every game ever made and replace the music with familyjulez7x's
Just read the description. Don't be so hard on yourself man. How does he do this? This is awesome! Greetings from Brazil!
This is fantastic. Especially love the Lost Woods theme at the end.
Can you guys imagine if someone remade the originals and just swapped out the music with this? How much more epic would the games be?
And now we have cadence of hyrule
@TheOrangeDart A Link to the Past is confusing because it's one of my favorite soundtracks and the songs are my favorites for different reasons. So in this case, I just went with how I felt they'd work together.
I wonder how many people ask him to join their band lol..If I had a band I know I would
Bret Rekcah He doesn't need a band; Auron was impressed by the strength of his work, and agreed to play all of the other instruments at once.
TheAsvarduilProject Awesome :)
I just have a playlist of FamilyJules' videos on shuffle when I play games now. PERFECT gaming music to just listen to for a whole day
Para los que hablan español... dejen su like :b xD
Toca hermoso
I came here after playing Cadence of Hyrule, and hearing you just shred on Death Mountain in the game, and then hearing it in this vid from 7 years ago warmed my heart. Like...holy shit, what a dream come true that must've been. Congrats!
