- Bike touring through Iran was a controversial decision, but the country or rather the people continue to surprise us. Despite difficult weather conditions we feel extremely welcome. Camping in the wild turns out to be a challenge, but not in the way one would think. In this episode we continue our Amazing World Bike Tour from Tabriz in the Eastern Azerbaijan province all the way to Saqqez in Iranian Kurdistan, where we get an unlikely invitation.

This is the best episode so far . Loved it soooooo much. well done guys. enjoy.
Thank you for letting us know!
Great to see you interacting with normal people in Iran. And how welcoming they are to you both - just goes to show, we're all proud of our home areas and appreciate welcoming visitors.
Absolutely. However, most Iranians are next level 😅
Ryan van Duzer calls this 'Trail Magic' - meeting people and experiencing spontaneous things! Paul
That's a way to put it. We've got plenty of magic and plenty of trail.
You've had a good run. The next episode is almost ready. Release is in one week, and this is a very special one 🤯😉
Iran! Wow, I never thought anyone would ever dare set foot in there. And this is an "amazing bike tour."
It certainly blew our minds 😀
Every time that I watch your videos and see people embrace you with smiles and hospitality, I am reminded how much good there still is in the world regardless of location.
Absolutely! It's the same for us. Despite all the problems we see, we believe the vast majority of people are truly kind and good in their hearts.
Love all the beautiful interactions with so many people!
Among the most beautiful things about Iran for us too!
I am so happy to see how well your journey to Iran is going. Million thanks for sharing your journey with us. I can't wait for your next video, I became addicted .
Thanks! ☺️ We bet you’ll have fun watching the next one 😅
Another excellent installment.
Thanks for spending the time to talk about multiethnic Iran! It was great to learn a little more about Kurdish language and culture too.
What an amazing tour ;)
Thanks Nigel! We'll tell a bit more about Kurdish culture in the coming two episodes ;-)
Thank you, Iran looks like it is full of wonderful people.
It is indeed! We’re in love with the Iranians met 🫶🏼
Another amazing episode from the both of you!
I thought of you today and here it was, the latest installment!!
Love the Jumanji reference!!
I deeply appreciate how detailed and full of fun anecdotes your videos are. Thank you for sharing your adventures :)
I cannot wait to go on my own long cycling adventure and visit Iran, every single video I see about Iran tells the same story about how awesome it's inhabitants are. I would love to live it myself.
Once again a thousand thanks for all your hard work and your beautiful film 😊
Dear Ashley, thanks. It means a lot to us, that the little details get appreciated. It is not easy to capture those moments on camera, but they really are the essence of our journey. You're gonna love the next episode ;-)
We hope you experience something like it yourself not too far in the future. Many situations will remind you of our journey, however, everyone has a very unique experience, as we are all unique.
If you should go solo, be aware that this changes a lot, in every country.
Aww what a beautiful interaction , with the old gentleman you shared the tea with. Just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing 😊
Yes. Definitely one of the moments we won't forget!
Wow! What an amazing experience. Loving your videos.
Thanks so much! We wished everyone could do something similar. It certainly changed our world.
The Jumanji bit was the most German joke I've heard in a while haha hope you two have a fantastic adventure in Iran!
Well spotted. Mathias wrote that joke 😉
Iran is an incredible country, especially for bike touring!
Penny and I absolutely loved this episode. Fantastic job (as usual) Arev and Mathias!
You're too kind! Thanks for your ongoing support!
Never have i seen such a contrast between a government and the people who live there. Ik makes me hopefull and positive for the future generations ♥️ Thanks again for sharing your extraordinary adventures over here. And I will add it once more… Stay healthy and stay safe!🙏🏼
Thank you Don!
Yes, Iran we definitely learned to differentiate. We could write a book about it!

Just fabulous! Thank you for sharing your journey ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
This is absolutely amazing!
It was! 😉
I would rather go to Iran than America
America is big :) we would love to visit South America one day.
I rather go to Iran from America where I am. Tiered of suburbs, corrupted Gov.,bad rude no manners, disrespectful young people and major crimes. I did live little bit of my American dream now getting ready to restart or continue it in Europe,Brazil and Iran.
are'nt they the nicest people ever !!
Absolutely!
