I booked a Delano King as a Gold Member for one night at $124 Stadium View and hope to get upgraded to Scenic vs taking a late night flight. It was $30 more to take an 8 AM flight the next morning and not having to hoof it all day.
Have stayed at both properties. For me, room size is the best feature in both properties. Just a lot of walking, definitely will get in your steps, sometimes before 12 noon😅

Great and informative. Never stayed in either but would most likely stay a Mandalay Bay. Partly do to the pool access. Who wants to cross a casino floor but sure some don’t care.
Because we are in Canada I usually look at package prices on Expedia and have noticed that Mandalay Bay and Delano have gone up significantly in the past few months. They used to be in the Park MGM or NYNY range for us but now are up there with Venetian, Bellagio and Wynn in terms of package price. It isn't the airfare bumpbing it up because other properties are in the same range I am used to. I wondered what happened as I don't think they have been recently renovated.

Stayed At Mandalay A Few Times We Loved That They Had Alot Of The Slots We Liked To Play But Sadly They Took All Of The Games Out And We Haven't Really Been Back Since..... It's Nice And The Pool Area is Good But Being At The Far End Of The Strip Is A Downer
I just stayed at Delano a couple of weeks ago. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are great. Personally I’ll probably not stay there again. The scent they have pumped in is a bit strong, the hallways are pretty dark and it was pretty far from everything else. I also found their casino and restaurant options to be a little lacking. I’ll probably stay at Park MGM always going forward for their food options, central location and non-smoking casino.
Choice is easy Mandalay if you are staying in one of the big suites like moorea suite, 2 bedroom panoramic, horizon, reef, media, etc… but if you are staying in a standard room the Delano is better because they are bigger and have a better layout. Mandalay does have better color patterns for their rooms though, very tropical. Delano is more like ikea as far as color.
I was just there for a business/pleasure trip. I stayed the first two nights in the Delano in a corner suite with panoramic view and the third night in Mandalay Bay in a double King overlooking the pool area. Hands down it's Mandalay bay for me. The room was much more inviting and attractive. The proximity to pool and other things. Mandalay Bay All The Way.

I think the only thing missing at the Delano is the nice accent wall in the bedroom. That would make all the difference. I like the bathrooms at Delano better than Mandalay. Mandalay shower floor looked very dirty. Delano bathroom classy. Can't wait for your review of Fontainbleu. I am not impressed. It reminds me of a mall. Hall walls very bare and the whole place reminds me of an airport.

They should steal the Mandalay blue and lime green drapes. Maybe throw a turquoise rug and throw pillows and some colorful paintings like the flowers from wynn and Delano would look awesome.
I find Delano very relaxing, scenic suite is beautiful with nice views. Luv the casiino, gambling, but need some quite for a comfortable nights sleep😊

I would imagine those Raiders games drive up cost. These two hotels are closest to the stadium.

Before it became the Delano, it was called The Hotel, which was fantastic. Stayed there several times. Hate the design change they made.

$300 a night for Delano? lol more like $600 during summer. But it’s the only place I stay in Vegas. Tremendous
Pricing definitely varies through the seasons and has been wildly all over lately. But yes, Delano is pretty great!
