Never cried during a Blink song. I just got emotional cause they were such a huge part of my life growing up. I feel like they are part of my life. We are growing old with them . As we get older, things change,.some things stay the same.
@idique1 of course, I've heard it. I have been listening to them since 1998. I also know how to play that song on the guitar. But, no. Adam's song never made me cry, probably cause I was a teenager.
Mark has said this isn't the end. This is "one more time" in the sense of getting back together, staying together (until an organic retirement), and, in the words of Tom, "last time we're going to fuck this up". They are not intending this to be their last album. Great reaction...got us all emotionally. They have been a place of comfort, joy, and laughter for me since '99. Beautiful, beautiful song and video.
@@MatandChelsReactThe lyric “I don’t wanna do this one more time” perfectly states it too. It just gets that message across that they’re so much happier and grateful that they’re back together and don’t wanna mess it up again

This song fking broke me... Such a powerful and heartfelt love letter to the fans and themselves... This one is gonna fking hit the heartstrings forever
I know this song is in reference to the band, but it hits on different levels. Maybe death of a loved one, maybe a tough breakup, maybe just saying goodbye to a friend. It's a good one
Definitely! After a few listens, I realized that the reason I like it is that it applies to everyone in this whole stupid nation-state of the "USA"--that isn't even united anymore at any level!!! Much more subtle and damning than even the Rolling Stones' new song.
Im 36 lost both my parents to cancer and friends to drugs. Blink was one of my first concerts when i was 13. This song and lyrics hit hard. Soo good! Emotional and Nostalgic.
I didn't know Blink-182 was able to make me get teary eyed but here we are! Thanks so much for all the amazing content you are up there as one of my fav reaction channels of all time!
A song for us life long fans. Being a kid in the 90s and esrly 00s was a gift. Sum 41, linkin park, good charlotte, blink 182, offspring. A song that took us oldies by surprise. Was a real treat.
I first saw them on TV at the Sports and Music festival either in 97 or 98 and the very next day I made my mom take me to the mall and found the Dude Ranch album. They’ve been my favorite band ever since. And I’ve probably listened to the Mark, Tom and Travis show more than any other album ever. This song was so nostalgic and left all of us true blink fans in tears. Thanks for the great reaction!
Love TH-camrs that don’t stop the song… it’s a reaction, not an analysis. Emotionally reaction and right words at the end, I fit so much in it and love it 👍🏻❤️
That line when he's talking about that it shouldn't take a sickness or airplanes falling out the sky hits so deep. It almost felt like Tom and Mark wrote this song as an apology to each other and the regrets about the breakup. The whole thing just slaps you in the face with feels
It's one of the most beautiful songs I can ever recall listening too, when you've been a longtime fan and understand all the context/references. This is lifelong friends, who have all been through tragedy (Travis - plane crash, Mark - srs cancer, Tom - cancer/addiction) finally putting all the nonsense aside and realizing their love for each other trumps their past. I cried like a baby. It's a loveletter to each other, the band & the fans.
A beautiful and emotional reaction. And don't worry, I shed a few tears too. I've been listening to these guys since I was a kid, and I never dreamed that when I'm thirty, they'd get back together after all that shit and release such a great song. I love it and I'm really looking forward to the new album.
Don't worry. I got teary eyed as well. Even again just now lol. These guys were my child hood as well. This hit deep and I always love Mark and Tom's voices together
Toms vocal performance is really good, I love it when he does the higher notes alongside Marks lower notes. Yes I know there’s auto tune in there but it doesn’t take away from the emotion in their voices
great reaction! as for chels' comment at the beginning, blink cleared up this is NOT going to be their last album. but it's the last time they're getting back together because they are STAYING back together!
It's been over a tear now since this came out. I remember hearing it and thinking about my friends I had and met in high school and with whom I hung out with all the time in college too. We had about 8 years there where me and my 5 brothers did everything together, and then cracks started to form and grow and some of us started fighting and others of us, like me, got married and moved several hours away and then it was almost 10 years before we all got back together again. I'm 45 years old, and we used to listen to Blink, and Green Day and Offspring and Weezer and Sum 41 all the time, and most of the bands haven't done much to spark any excitement since our group of friends went our separate ways in the early 2000s. The last time we got together was in 2019, so earlier this year when we tried and only partially succeeded in getting back together I thought it was fitting that all of those bands had new albums coming out that were actually pretty good. But Blink? Damn, when I heard this song it just reminded me of all my friends and what we went through and how we didn't hardly see each other for the better part of 20 years. I sent this song to them in a group text, and two of them straight up admitted to crying when they saw it. We teased them of course. And then traded clips of the newest season of Beavis and Butthead. I think a lot of friends grow up, grow apart, and then grow to miss each other as they reach middle age. So Blink tapping into this was really great.
it is really nice to see fans reviewing this video/song because I have seen others reviewing it just for the sake of reviewing it and they just don't get it like a fan does... thanks for this... I am right there with you guys!
It’s also a song for them to remind themselves that they should love each other no matter what happens, and not break up again. I feel like they’ll continue being a band for as long as they can. It’s not gonna be a one off album.
The day before summer break in 6th grade, my tough as nails math teacher played us What's My Age Again on the rolly-cart TV. That was one of my darkest years / summers ever, but Blink was there for support. I'm glad they're back together!
First time I've come across your channel and I have to say watching you guys react to this song, specifically you Chels on the left during the middle part of the song made me cry all over again. It was genuine emotion from you and I love seeing that type of stuff online especially with all the crap that usually gets uploaded online from th majority of the population. Don't have much to say other than thank you for uploading this and letting us in. Truly a beautiful song and it gets me every time "I gotta say I love you while we're here" jeeeeez that's tough
I've listened to this song and watched the video so many times and when the chorus hits and it cuts to the warped tour 99 background it still hits like a ton of bricks. And theres such raw sincerity in it. You can hear Tom's voice crack when he says from strangers into brothers. This is a beautiful return to form and i absolutely can't wait for the new album to drop(which is also two days after my birthday so a birthday present for us both!)
I've watched a lot of video reactions to this song and I hate when the video is paused cuz the feeling and details get missed. Watch it in silence, enjoy, then play it again, pause and comment. Your reactions are priceless.
I grew up with these guys too. Was introduced to them in middle school with their flyswatter and Chesire cat releases(a friend of mine had copies), and I was immediately hooked. I'd never have picked up a guitar if it wasn't for them. I'm 33 now and love them just as much now as I did then. Their friendship and the obstacles they've overcome to get to this moment is a story you only hear about rarely. It's beautiful and bittersweet.
Yeah dude this song got me good, even though it's about the band alot of it I took from things in my life as well as some others might. Song had me crying like it does to alot of people, great reaction both of you.
I grew up on this band, I graduated from university on it, I went through all circles of hell at work on it, my son is growing up on it now, it's a band that has gone through my life through and through. And it's still going strong! I hope my grandchildren will listen to their new album)
53 old timer here and this song is good. After 2 years I finally connected with my 2 friends in my life that I have known since junior high. So glad I did. One just had triple bypass surgery at the age of 51. Take nothing for granted people.
Love this song. And thank you for not stopping or pausing in the middle of the song. I’ve seen a lot of these reaction videos and what I’ve seen your the first one that played the video straight thru without stopping. Yeah this song broke me last week. Especially that verse I MISS YOU. TOOK TIME BUT I ADMIT IT. then the parts I GOTTA SAY I LOVE YOU WHILE WE’RE HERE.
Blink has been my favorite band for nearly 20 years. They’ve gotten me through the darkest times of my life. If my music journey was a book, they’d be the first sentence of the first page of the first chapter. I’ve followed their journey and careers outside of blink and this song just wrecked me. They wrote it for them and that’s totally fine. I can tell this song really helped them heal. Those backdrops had me sobbing. Especially the house they recorded the self titled in.
I love you guys sooo much for crying like i did when i first heard this song.❤️ The second i saw Tom on Guitar and heard him singing my tears started to fill up my eyes. I saw them last Weekend live in Berlin and it was so epic 🤘 They are finally back together 😍
If you told me 20 years ago that Blink 182 would put out a song one day that would leave me weeping like a baby, I would say you were crazy. But here we are. This isn’t just an instant classic (it definitely is in my opinion), but it’s also one of the most beautiful and meaningful songs I HAVE EVER HEARD.
This has to be the most genuine reaction video I've seen yet. I grew up with this band as well and have been a hardcore fan for the last 22 years. It's funny how deep music can affect you, this song for me was really emotional and it was really hard to sum it up when it was over.
My buddy just died a couple days ago from brain cancer at 40. Went from feeling perfectly fine to being on life support over 3 days, then the plug was pulled the next day. Don't take too long to reunite with your friends and family. Especially if y'all arent talking due to some petty bs that doesn't matter at the end of the day.
YESS. when I was younger, I used to put Mark Tom and Travis Show on repeat. The banter was always hilarious and the songs just sounded so good in a live setting. Been a huge fan of them for over 20 years. Makes me feel old.
reminds us of our own mortality, blink was a huge part of my life like everyone else perfect example when you said reliving your childhood... couldn't of said it better myself.. I definitely got that pit in my throat watching this reaction... so I'm now going to watch some Slaughter to Prevail reactions to make me feel better =)
Dude...evil dead shirt with blink on the wall. We're best friends now. When me and my friends got our first cars growing up, the only thing allowed in our cd/tape player was blink. I first heard them shortly after dude ranch because my sister went to their show and was listening to them her room. My biggest influence.
The One More Time reference is them saying that they're not going to fuck this up again after everything they've been through. It shouldn't take a sickness or airplanes falling from the sky to keep this wonderful friendship apart and hopefully now they will have one more shot at making a legacy for themselves.
A true blink fan understands how deep this song really is…. This song paired with the video hits hard…. Thank you blink-182. And thank you Mat and Chels for an honest reaction as blink fans.
i feel this song every time i hear it i am 33 and a stage 3 colon cancer survivor i grew up with blink! Its crazy mark got cancer. hope they alll are doing ok! also, in case you missed some references mark got cancer and Travis had a plane crash and tom struggled for years with a lot and kept leaving and coming back. man your tears at the end were as real as mine so im sure you know this band well lol. crazy to see them back at it again bitter sweeet but sad at the same time.
Seeing these guys live in Feb gonna have a stadium full of 30 & 40 year olds crying like babies when they do this one. Listened to it I think 50 times already and haven’t gotten through it without crying yet. Such an emotional soul destroying song.
Tom already said the meaning of One More Time is that this is the last time they will ever fuck things up with one another. They are never going down the roads they have that led to their hiatus and eventual breakup again.
My son is 20, I've told him I love him everyday of his life, not missed a single day, not one, even today when we spoke. I tell people all the time, people miss you when you're gone but while you're here people don't try anymore.
i listened to this when it dropped while i was in a car ride with my dad and had to choke back tears so he didnt make fun of me lol, such a beautiful song
I know this song is about the band's history and I appreciate it. But one thing I love about music is that it can mean so many things to so many people. I'm an Iraq war vet, former infantryman who grew up in the late 90s early 00s on this band. This song hits so hard and every line in this song from the opening line makes me think about how you as a young infantryman become brothers with the people you serve with, then one day you go your separate ways and lead sepatate lives and life gets in the way. Then one day your friends start dropping like flies. Cancer, suicide, car crashes, etc. You never know you were living in the best moments of your life till its over and you look back.
this song made me really depressive... when a band is a part of your life and was with you growing up, this shows you how damn fast time flies, how old we already are... those old times will never come back...
Oof well that's going right on my friends funeral playlist. We don't know if she just went to sleep & never woke up or if it was deliberate. She was meant to come to Ghost with us on Wednesday. I miss her already
@MatandChelsReact thank you. Seriously the last 2 years I've lost SO many people I can't even keep up anymore. This is a great bit of nostalgia back to better times & coping with getting older. I'm going to be 45 in a matter of months, I don't know if I like that ha. Mum's in hospital after a bad fall & broke her shoulder & both knees so she's just had a shoulder replacement & they've fixed the knees up as best they can but she won't be walking unaided again so that's hard. What this means for her driving as well with dad about to lose his licence cos of cataracts. Best blink misheard lyrics is from what's my age again. Where's my Asian friend 😂 like the whole group of friends just gave up & that became the words & the Asian friends would play along like "hi, I'm RIGHT HERE!" LOL
I believe that tears came to the eyes of all the fans. The biggest sadness is knowing that they NEVER came to Brazil and many fans never had the chance to see them. Note: They will come to an Event called Lollapalooza, where tickets cost minimum wage and many fans are unable to pay.
Never cried during a Blink song. I just got emotional cause they were such a huge part of my life growing up. I feel like they are part of my life. We are growing old with them . As we get older, things change,.some things stay the same.

I first heard them shortly after dude ranch because my sister went to their show and was listening to them her room. My biggest influence.
I feel you guys! So do i, grew up on them
Respect from Jakarta, Indonesia! 👊
This song just wrecked me so bad
I feel like we can all relate to it. We'll all have to say i love you one more time to the people we lose...
The One More Time reference is them saying that they're not going to fuck this up again after everything they've been through. It shouldn't take a sickness or airplanes falling from the sky to keep this wonderful friendship apart and hopefully now they will have one more shot at making a legacy for themselves.
hermosa reacción saludos desde ARGENTINA!!
Having their Mötley Crüe moment, im loving it.
A true blink fan understands how deep this song really is…. This song paired with the video hits hard…. Thank you blink-182.
And thank you Mat and Chels for an honest reaction as blink fans.
You’re welcome!
i feel this song every time i hear it i am 33 and a stage 3 colon cancer survivor i grew up with blink!
❤️
Lol that was awesome reaction, I had same so many great memories and relatable
Thank you!
I cried a😢😢😢😢 alot during this song it hit me hard
My favorite color ever.... chels hair...
The tears won't stop :(
Perfect reaction x
Seeing these guys live in Feb gonna have a stadium full of 30 & 40 year olds crying like babies when they do this one. Listened to it I think 50 times already and haven’t gotten through it without crying yet. Such an emotional soul destroying song.
I never thought a blink 182 would have me tear eyed in 2023
Same!
...tears ... Me too
Tom already said the meaning of One More Time is that this is the last time they will ever fuck things up with one another. They are never going down the roads they have that led to their hiatus and eventual breakup again.
My son is 20, I've told him I love him everyday of his life, not missed a single day, not one, even today when we spoke.
I tell people all the time, people miss you when you're gone but while you're here people don't try anymore.
The pist off teenager inside me needed this so bad
i listened to this when it dropped while i was in a car ride with my dad and had to choke back tears so he didnt make fun of me lol, such a beautiful song
All the 90's kids felt this one
Blink still has it. Amazing Tom is back. This next album could be something else.
I hope to recognize Last Chorus, is TRAVIS BARKER singing, that part make me BOOM
Bom demais! Parabéns.
Damn, this was a heavy read but we absolutely understand what you're saying. We also want to say thank you for your service!
this song made me really depressive... when a band is a part of your life and was with you growing up, this shows you how damn fast time flies, how old we already are... those old times will never come back...
Oof well that's going right on my friends funeral playlist. We don't know if she just went to sleep & never woke up or if it was deliberate. She was meant to come to Ghost with us on Wednesday.
I miss her already
We are so sorry for your loss. Beautiful song to add. Sending peace and lots of love your way.
Hi From France :) I had the same reaction, what a song !!!!
Hello!!
Your reaction to this brother is pretty close to how I felt the first time I heard it. Just... Yea. Good job.
WE ALL CRIES..
