ALERT: The main issue is not what the woman did or didn’t do. MOT training dictates that no vehicles are to be stopped on the shoulder without additional visual and physical protection of prolonged work or safety is required. Any emergency where the shoulder would need to be used could have ended with the exact same result. Today, the focus needs to be on what training the officers have, what safety measures where being used, flairs, reflective warning triangles, a car or truck activity providing safety ( barricade ) until the officers could move safely off of the shoulder! Safety training is the issue. Not how the traffic may or may not use the shoulder on an active roadway..

From the dashcam footage, it appears the shoulder upon which the cops were sitting was very narrow. Hindsight would suggest calling a Trooper in a car to block the scene would have been prudent. I dont know how fast the driver was going nor if their phone was a contributing factor, but for all the talk about safety and how dangerous road work can be, logic should dictate that the cops involved were standing squarely in a ‘fatal funnel’ with virtually no means of egress.
@ the sheriff stated that one of the bikes’ battery died and the other two moved to his location in an attempt to jump start the dead bike. There was certainly time to get the roadway blocked with a car or a fire truck. There was no urgent need to get the bike jumped before safety could be assured. FFS
People drive 70 or 80 on this road often. It's a straight shot out to the middle of sugar cane fields and farmland. The problem here is the number if people on their phones. Every other car is someone either chatting on the phone or looking at videos while driving.
Also, from the dashcam footage, one sees a wide open three lanes with no traffic in sight and a mile long guardrail. I don't know the state of the bike, but my idea of fatal effort is pushing it up the way. In hindsight, a lift truck to remove it to the shop while I waited on the safe side of the guardrail would have been my preference, but who's to say that would have been another tow driver killed at work.

Condolences to the LEO's and their families. 🫡💙
I drive a truck down here southern Florida also l can almost guarantee on that section of Southern blvd she was probably doing way over the speed limit l deliver all over west palm beach
She still faces lawsuits
Probably looked up from phone and f r eaked
There ya go
keep talking i am taking names and if comes out she wasnt on her phone, i will giver that woman a list from youtube to sue. I hope you have good insurance and money it the bank.!
You're such a crusader
And funny too
@@brandogeberbin7563 LMAO. 😂😂😂 You must be her man? Her brother? Maybe her father? Lol
No charges yet? They were on the side not even in the middle of the lane when she hit them. She must be charged no doubt and may the officers families sue her in civil court, at least then if she does not do jail time she will work for their families for the rest of her life.
ALERT:
The main issue is not what the woman did or didn’t do.
It's a Jeep SUV, aggressive driving and attempting to pass on the shoulder were absolutely the case here
And texting.
@@DTM45 my opinion is this was intentional driving that blew up in the driver's face, not distraction
Not to mention that the motorcycles aren’t completely out of the travel lane.
@@andrewmeachum6731 if they weren't completely out of the travel lane traffic would be crawling, at most 30mph, and backed up for a mile. They were on the shoulder for an hour or more.
This accident Definitely shows that she has some bad and carelessness driving habits ,when she gets behind the wheel of a motor vechile .
Ain't much to say but speeding. This lead her to extremely over correct. Plain and simple in my opinion.
First of all ...All due respect to the families of the lost ..."law enforcement officers" in this tragedy...but to be quite honest... if the "government" DID NOT position these poor souls to be out there "running radar" against the same people that pay their minimal salaries THAT WE THE PEOPLE PAY FOR! They would not have been in this highly vulnerable scenario...We all deserve better!!! "Running Radar" against those who pay your SALARY....Wake up America!!!!
What a sick attitude! Law abiding citizen obviously not!
Why did you blurr out the crash ?
She was speeding when she came up on the car infront of her she wasn not paying attention!
She was texting.
How could that driver miss the flashing lights and flares of the broken down motorcycle.
Exactly. I get it, the majority will not.
Exactly. But they chose not to use those warnings all so they could catch speeders? Whomever told them to do this speeding detail like this is at fault IMO.
Maybe quit stealing the people's money. Just being road pirates. I feel for the woman. They will do all they can to put her in prison just so they can sue her insurance. Like they did to that poor woman in Arizona.
Uhhhh …. How about vehicular manslaughter. Her fault entirely … speed, inattention, shitty driving
Very poor judgment in setting up such a dangerous radar checkpoint you're supposedly a public servant so all of you don't get to just quit working just because two of them went down that's ridiculous you're putting everybody else in danger you people have a club that has to be rearranged your your priorities are way wrong closing down the road because of your own negligence
So she survived??? Why is it that the criminal driving always survive ?? It's sound like She wanted to pass SPEEDING THEN SAW THEM AND TRIED TO GET BACK IN THE LINE but like a dumb azzz probably swerved
So who killed them?
They killed themselves by running radar in a extremely dangerous location.
3rd just died
I wonder why this station found it necessary to do coverage from the median.........
It's a tragedy but that was a very poor choice to use that spot, if you pulled over there you'd probably get a ticket, traffic is insane in Fl with everyone moving here, but they won't widen the roads with your tax money, they just keep writing you tickets for trying to get where your going in heavy traffic. Bad decisions sometimes have horrible consequences.
sounds like she will get probation
No love loss here
Did they have traffic control or a crash truck.

Governor DeSantis needs to give FHP more money for pay raises and more troopers. They are paid the least out of all the states and retention is awful from what I’ve heard. We don’t have these issues in GA. RIP deputies.
FHP is short staffed because they are being used for border patrol in Texas, and in Prison shake down like Suwannee Correction Facility.
He did, they got an extensive boost to their budget and pay.
I will say that law enforcement vehicles are often stopped on a roadway without emergency lights or hazard lights. That in itself is a risk. Be careful out there folks.
What do lights have to do with being on the shoulder, just like any disabled vehicle?
If it was a disabled vehicle, then yes there would be no difference. But the had the resources to become more visible, but it also defeats the purpose or running radar. I guess it’s the risk you take to enforce the law
@@humbertosantiago9592 you don’t know what they did, who they called, how long they’d been there….etc etc etc
@@humbertosantiago9592 one story said that one of the motorcycles was disabled.
Who know what really happened or why.
What we DO know is that the driver lost control, went out of the travel lanes and killed two people. And critically injured a third.
@@mischaraine1645 you’re right, know one knows what really happened.
🙏
Those police were literally less than a foot away from on coming traffic lane. They had no business being stop there talking to each other. This could have been easily avoided if those police didnt feel so entitled to literally stop next to on coming traffic smh
The shoulder is a full lane against a guardrail. No where else to go. Smh. You are a sad human.
But she “had business” losing control of her vehicle and slamming into the guardrail? Make it make sense.
@mischaraine1645 if you can't discern the facts of this case and start saying emotional BS like that then it's obvious that your brain doesn't have the capacity to see reality and I won't waste my time arguing with. Both were at fault, I know I'm smart enough not to stand a foot away from oncoming highway traffic, but obviously, you and those cops aren't smart enough to realize that. Like I said, this could've easily been avoided by those cops
@@dre3stacks7 You won’t waste your time..l but you typed a whole epistle. 😂 The internet is funny.
@@dre3stacks7 it could have been avoided, if she had stayed in her lane, or at the very least, in a travel lane. Does that make sense?

I consider this as a tragic accident. This accident could have happen anywhere on that road. The officers where called upon the Lord Jesus Christ. It was there day. I do believe that the lady driving is a no fault for the deaths of those falling angels. When its your time, Its your time. May god take care of there familes and all friends.
Are you kidding me? She ran into 3 officers and killed 2.
Nobody cares

How can these stupid news people say that so far there has been no traffic violation by this woman? ...it is obvious that she drove on the shoulder of the highway which in itself is a serious violation...even worse when she does it as a result of road rage which is obvious in this case and on top of that she killed police officers and caused great losses...she has to go to jail
Was it a speed trap, entrapment?
UNBELIEVABLE!
I knew these officers were at fault look how close they are to the road. No emergency here just these idiots chilling close to a busy road.
They were not chilling. One officer's bike broke down and he called the other 2 to assist him. They'd literally just pulled up to help him. They were each sitting further down the road setting up to do traffic enforcement.I work for the county so at one of the substations so I hear bits and pieces.
@Ontheroxxwithsalt the officers should have known better to be so close traffic. They didnt pull over on the grass all three were right on the solid line. There actions caused there deaths
Looks intentional....
You don’t know how long they had been there or who they called. Ffs
